Kiro Sushi — Restaurant in Lisbon

The salmon lovers’ combo was a great value but the execution was off. The rice was too vinegary. The salmon was a bit fishy and the cubed salmon for the hand roll weren’t from quality cuts (a lot of fat). Also the uramaki had sundried tomatoes as a filling, which was a weird combo and left this salty aftertaste.

Visited Kiro Sushi for lunch during our stay in Lisbon. Located at the top floor of the mall, away from the very crowded and noisy food court, this place offers Sushi by the weight at a reasonable price. Uma vez, ainda no Brasil, eu pedi um sushi em uma loja recém-aberta na minha cidade do interior. Depois de duas horas, recebo faminto a comida em casa, e depois de comer uma ou outra peça, percebi que o salmão estava estragado e exalando um cheiro horrível.

Vendo em retrospecto, após comer no Kiro, até que não estava tão ruim.

Pedi um super combo nesse restaurante, e recebi o PIOR sushi que já comi na vida. Os ingredientes parecem ser da mais vagabunda origem, as peças fritas estavam com um sabor amargo terrível, provavelmente por conta de utilizarem o mesmo óleo para fritar as peças desde a época em que minha bisavó era virgem.

Pra você ter uma ideia, eu mal consegui comer as peças corretamente porque o arroz utilizado é de tão baixa qualidade que ao tentar pegar a peça com o hashi, ela incrivelmente se despedaça no prato como se fosse manteiga.

A atendente foi longe de ser simpática ao responder a pergunta de minha companheira sobre o tamanho das peças com "é o tamanho padrão" e olhar como se nós tivéssemos cuspido na cara dela, mas sinceramente eu nem ligaria pra isso se a comida tivesse minimamente decente.
