A promotion for a free pizza popped up when we were ordering our dinner- we confirmed the order but the free pizza never arrived. Called the restaurant and they claimed there was never a “free pizza” promotion and if we wanted, they could give us a discount for the next time. How is that going to feed a group of hungry people waiting for pizzas??? The one sad pizza that arrived was COLD. Do not order from them unless you are prepared to have only half the food delivered, and cold too.
EDIT (11/9/2023): The 1 star was for the service. The free pizza popup was a glitch? Fine. Apologise and offer to resolve the issue instead of GIVING EXCUSES and claiming it’s not your fault!
When we called the 1st time to resolve the issue, no apology was offered nor was there attempt to resolve the situation. When we asked about the possibility of ordering another pizza to make up for the missing dinner, response from owner was “it will take at least one hour to make the pizza”. Seriously? When the restaurant is 10minutes away from us? We had to stop watching the rugby game to try to make dinner, missing parts of the game in the process.
We have dined at the restaurant and ordered deliveries and takeaways many times before, and had always had good service and food. This is why we had high expectations for the food and service.
We can forgive a cold pizza, but not when the owner is unapologetic and blames clients for errors in orders. Even the response here is purely defensive, pushing the blame to the client. It is such a pity that the customer service rides on “blame the client for errors” instead of “how can we resolve the issue”.
Suggestion? Fix the pop up on the website. Try to understand what is going on instead of going on and on about how it is not your fault.
Suggestion to clients? Dine in for the best experience. If you choose to go on the wild side and order a delivery, be prepared to be blamed...
Read moreUnfortunately, although the food was good and the restaurant was really nice, the waiter left much to be desired. He was immediately upset because we didn't know what to order (we had just opened the menu). At the end of the meal, we asked for the check and coffee. The waiter forgot to bring us both of them. While we waited, people kept arriving and then the same waiter asked us if we could leave the table and have the coffee outside and pay the check upstairs. I have to say this was the first time this has ever happened to me in any restaurant, anywhere. Especially because the delay was not our fault. This kind of experience really ended up ruining what would be otherwise a...
Read moreVery special place in Lisbon. Genuine Italian cuisine, by genuine Italians, for Italians and everyone in Lisbon alike. The pizzas are unlike any other you'll ever be able to try here, and the beverage of choice would be their specialty iced teas.
As a musician who plays here from time to time, the hosting is top notch and the venue is cozy, suitable for up-close performances in several alternative music styles such as Bossa Nova, Jazz, Manouche, and so on.
The only downside here is that it is rather small so it might be difficult to guarantee a table without reservation, but once you make your stay, it'll feel like home for the rest of the evening with its trendy...
