No.sense - Smash burgers — Restaurant in Lisbon

Unfortunately, the burger experience was pretty underwhelming. The classic meat burger felt more like a placeholder — just meat and bread with very little flavor. It lacked that spark you’d hope for, especially from a place that seems to position itself as a burger spot. The vegetarian option didn’t fare much better: bland tofu between buns, with not much going on in terms of taste or creativity. There’s so much more that can be done with tofu, but here, it just felt like an afterthought.

You’d expect the sauces to maybe step in and add some flavor, but even there, the experience fell flat. The sauce was quite bland, and the mayonnaise had a strange taste — not exactly what you’d call quality. As for the fries, the texture was decent, but the flavor was really lacking, which made them hard to enjoy.

Service was fine, and the atmosphere was okay for a quick eat-in — nothing particularly cozy, but it does the job. Still, considering the overall experience, especially when you factor in the price point, it’s hard not to feel a bit disappointed. Burgers are actually great and the fries are amazing! Although they do not have any classic option, that's expectable by the place's name, and it is noticeable they use top quality stuff to cook!

My only critic is that since they do not have seating expect for the counter along the shop, it's not the ideal place to go and chill with a group of people. You might feel rushed to stand up and leave because people come inside and leave when they notice there are no seats, and it can get very loud too.

We ordered 2 burger combos through a food delivery platform. The burgers were honestly the best we have had so far in Lisbon. Great ratio of bun to meat, well-smashed patties and crispy fries. I was however concerned as the wrapper the burger came in smelled rancid and made me nauseous. On removing the paper wrapper however, I enjoyed the meal a lot. Dear Nosense, Please please please check the paper wrappers you use for your burgers and change them if they do smell off.
