Please train your new employees in a way that doesn't compromise customer experience. This restaurant does not seem to prioritize its customers, nothing is done to make up for mistakes on their part. They will prepare food for people who arrived way after you even after they realize they lost your order. I'm giving 3 stars just for the mostly decent food, but it's really not worth the wait. tldr: restaurant lost our order, we got treated as if we had arrived an hour later, tried to overcharge us.

We arrived ~7:30pm on Sunday. The waitress who came to take our order apologized for not being familiar with the menu and said she was new (tbh the ordering process was fine to us so we didnt pay it any mind). Turns out this was a warning that our order wasn't put in lol. We found out when we got handed menus again from the manager(?) nearly an hour later. When we informed him we had already ordered, he rushed away and we waited another half hour with no news. I went to the counter to ask about the progress of our food and then the food came in minutes (8:52pm), but they gave us a wrong dish. They also gave us the (more expensive) bill for the wrong dish. It's terrible that for this treatment we pay the same as the 2+ tables who got seated after we ordered and who finished before we even got any food. Their regular service is already slow as you may read from their other reviews.

They have a menu with pictures and english, spanish, portugese, french, and each dish is numbered. It's convenient but because the waitress wrote down the numbers only when she took our order, they served the most expensive option of dish number 5 (fried sardines) when we ordered the dish of the day for the 5th (fried calamari).

Do not order the dish of the day just because it is the dish of the day. They have a page at the end of the menu with different dishes numbered 1-15 (we came on the 5th so I guess those were one dish for each day of the month) but the quality, quantity, and prices should be identical to the same dishes in the other parts of the menu. We got the fried calamari which was a disappointment. The squid rings were chalky in texture, had non-crispy tough batter and came with non-crispy fries.

The staff look friendly but they really don't have the time/means to care about you. It's very awkward to answer when they ask you during your meal if everything is ok, after you lose all mood to enjoy dinner and lose any time to do anything else that night.

Environment: slightly dingy local place playing y2k music videos. It'a a terrible place to pass time without food. If you like secondhand smoke then you get...

I am surprised it got so many good reviews. The staff is ok and the food price is in general a few euros cheaper than the restaurants near the tourist attractions. However the food is obviously not the best. The clams were extremely salty and too salty to swallow. The grilled octopus was quite nice tho. For the seafood rice, it tasted alright but it was completely different from other famous restaurants, it just likes cooking with tomato sauce and with only a few seafood varieties in it. The worst thing is I think all the seafood they used are the frozen ones, the texture is completely different from the fresh ones I had in other restaurants. When the staff asked whether the food was good I told her honestly that the clams were really too salty but seemed she didn’t get it.

Although it is cheaper than other places but with such quality it doesn’t worth for that. I would rather pay more for real...

No idea how this got 4.7. If you are a tourist, avoid this place. I ordered grilled salmon and salad. The salmon was full of bones, some of them almost as big as my little finger and had barely any taste. The potato and vegetables for the salmon were just boiled vegetables, with barely any taste again. And the salad was some tomatoes, garlic, carrot and salad of mediocre quality on a plate. Everything was lacking in spices and herbs, and basically in taste. I've also ordered pudding, but they forgot about it, but at this point I was glad about it. The only positive side of this was the low price, but then again, if you are eating out you should enjoy it. If you come to this place for the low price, you should at that point make it yourself, as it would be cheaper and much better with just a small amount...
