I’m a huge fan of the concept of rooftop bars. The dreamy skyline views, dedicated service, and tantalizing cocktails are enough to lift anyone's mood after a long day. That being said, my experience at park skybar was nothing less than disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a queue so long, it could rival an amusement park ride. It oddly resembled an over-populated bird's nest rather than a relaxing rooftop bar. Waiting in line for nearly an hour didn't exactly set an inviting tone.
Once we finally made it to the top, the views were admittedly stellar; however, the claustrophobically close seating was far from comfortable. The tables were so closely packed that privacy was an utterly alien concept. We could easily overhear neighboring conversations, whether we wanted to or not.
Moving on to the service, it was inconsistent at best. The staff seemed to be inexperienced and uninterested. It took multiple reminders and over half an hour before our drinks arrived, some of which were incorrect orders.
As for the drinks, they were criminally overpriced. I do believe in paying for an experience, but when a cocktail tastes like an uninspiring, dull splash of alcohol, it's hard to justify the absurd prices.
And not to forget - the noise level. It was beyond unbearable. The combination of loud music, overpacked patrons, and incessant chatter created an atmosphere more suited to a raucous nightclub than a sophisticated rooftop bar.
Overall, Parl Skybar blatantly sold more on the concept of a rooftop bar than it could deliver. Overcrowding, poor service, sub-par drinks, and deafening noise levels turned what should have been a pleasing evening into a headache-inducing ordeal. A rooftop bar should provide an uplifting experience, but my spirits were anything but high. At the risk of sounding too harsh - I wouldn't recommend this bar to my...

This garden park-style rooftop bar provides stunning panoramic views of the city, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere. I arrived around 5:30 PM to snag a good spot for sunset, and I'm so glad I did! By 6:00-6:30 PM, the place was packed, with no seats left on the outdoor rooftop. So, if you're planning to catch the sunset, be sure to arrive early. The view from the rooftop is simply breathtaking. I could see everything from the cityscape to the Tagus River and even the iconic Cristo Rei statue in the distance. It was truly magical watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant hues. A few things to keep in mind: Get there early: Especially if you want to enjoy the sunset from the rooftop. Dress warm: It can get quite windy and chilly in the evening, even in the summer. Bring a jacket to stay comfortable. Soak in the atmosphere: The vibe is relaxed and friendly, with a mix of locals and tourists enjoying the views and drinks. Overall, Park Rooftop Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Lisbon. Read moreWe had the worse night ever in that bar. Our time time started very badly as we were welcomed by a very aggressive waitress that yelled that us since the very beginning because we were taking to many chairs outside since we were a large group. But that did not ended there, at the closing of the bar that same waitress was so agressive with us asking us to leave and always wanted to argue with everyone of us and talked to in an inacceptable tone. At the end she started an argument with us and yelled and insulted us as the other members of the staff like the bouncer were taking her side and yelled at us and pushed us to the exit very aggressively even though we were not done with our drinks. We never experienced a level of service that bad even though we ordered a lot from them that night the way we were treated was unacceptable. Finally the worst part is that when we left the bar and were waiting in the street, the waitress threw a bucket of cold water on us from the rooftop. Her behavior is not that of a waitress, her acts were so immature and we won’t accept being insulted like that. She should find an another job where she is not in contact of the public since she spoiled our whole night that was for our friend’s birthday. Save your money for other rooftops in Lisbon we’re the staff is more respectful, it’s not worth it to come her and get insulted, stay away from that place...
