AVOID this restaurant! Possibly the rudest man I've ever had the misfortune to have been served by. Was obviously annoyed we only wanted a drink and didn't want food, when we sat at one of the many empty tables. The tables around us were drinking coffee and had the odd basket of bread, so our order of two large beers was hardly odd. When I was paying for our drinks he didn't say a single word...may have grunted a little, to us both. I thanked him in Portuguese as he gave me my receipt, €12 for 2 X large Super Bock beers, and he simply ignored me, turned and walked away. Hideous service from a very rude man. We left Pride march and went to the restaurant Solar do Kadete for a beer, it was 6:30pm. Since their hours are until midnight, most of the tables on the terrace were set and they were also serving a large table, it seemed obvious to us that it was opened. I addressed a staff member who was passing by (with a tray of food), he ignored me. I addressed him again and the second time he turned his face away from me, not answering. This place is an absolute hidden gem in Lisbon! Antonio is an incredible host—warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what he does. Despite our late arrival, he graciously welcomed us in and served us the most flavorful grilled sardines and sea bass we’ve ever had—undoubtedly the freshest in Lisbon.
