Don't go there, it's a tourist trap and a rip off! The way they make their great review score is that they entice people with a free drink or dessert to leave them a good review and they're not shy at all to "bribe" you like that. And I've been coming to Portugal for 10 years now so I know I can say the food here has poor quality and tastes nothing like Portuguese cuisine from a local tasca or restaurant.
It was my second time in Lisbon and I couldn't remember where was the restaurant where I had wanted to go, just remembered it was near a train station (in the end it was near the Sta Apolonia station). It was getting late though so we settled on this one because of the great reviews, but it was kinda weird that so late in the evening (after 8pm) it was empty in a restaurant with an almost perfect Google score - we were the only guests and later came a group of Spaniards.
The food is quite pricey for what they offer and the taste is bland. The cheese and meat board had rather poor quality ingredients. The main course didn't taste like the same dish made in a Portuguese restaurant. By the end of our meal, the waiter came offering us another drink in exchange for a favourable review, so I made it a point to leave a scathing review because of 1. their poor food quality and 2. their misleading practices. And I guess no tourist likes to get ripped off.
Basically, when you're in Portugal, go eat where Portuguese people...

Read moreThis place absolutely blew us away. It was our first meal in Lisbon, and we ended up coming back a second time because by the end of our 4 day trip, it was still our favorite meal and we couldn’t bear to leave town without getting to enjoy the exceptional food and service they provided one last time. Everything was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor — you truly cannot go wrong with anything you order. This place is owned by a group of friends who are so kind and passionate about their work, and you can feel and taste the love and time they put into everything they do. We wish we lived in Lisbon just so we could eat here every week and befriend the team even more so than we did in the brief two visits we were...
