I was here with my boyfriend and my sister. We ordered a tourist menu - it was a very good choice. We got three different fish, potatoes, salads, wine, coffies and dessert. We payd 25€ for person. It was very cheap for this quality and it was so delicious! In our opinion gilthead was the best. :) By the way our waiteress was very friendly and profesional. :) It was a pleasure to be there. :)

The restaurant is not on the busiest main road with all the grills so it was not too hard to get a table. However, it doesn't mean the restaurant is any less than the others on the main street. The service was fast and friendly. The grilled seafood was amazing! And you can actually enjoy your food in a less smoky and noisy environment compared to the main street.

Localizado numa paralela da avenida Serpa Pinto, zona mais tranquila, com boas avaliações o que ajuda na decisão. Dois espaços para refeições, sala interior pequena, acolhedora, confortável e um contentor em vidro no passeio com vistas para a rua. Destaco a simpatia, eficiência e profissionalismo do staff. A ementa inclui várias opções de carne, recomendo qualquer das m sugestões de peixe ou marisco. Para jantar optamos por partilhar pratos na versão meia doses, suficiente para duas pessoas. Um excelente Arroz de Marisco e uma Cataplana de polvo com gambas, batata e pimentos verdes. Acompanhar Montes Ermos Douro. Sobremesas, toucinho do Céu e tarte de amêndoa. Excelentes ingredientes naturais e boa confecção. Ótima relação qualidade/Preço. Obrigado

Not to repeat.

We wanted a mixed fish platter and ordered mixed fishes but in the end it felt like they chose big ones and overcharged.

Small choice of starters, with some of them even not available, very small portion of potatoes to go along and the mixed salad that we ordered arrived in the middle of the meal.

The quality of the food itself wasn't bad, although the fish was a bit overly salty and the mixed salad had only one kind of lettuce.

Next time we'll go...

We have enjoyed the wonderful food and friendly atmoshere at Cais51! It is located in a small street off the main road, close to the other strip with seafood restaurants. Friendly personnel, who showed us the fresh fish to be grilled when selecting our menu. The vinho branco house wine is very good, as well as the delicious chocolate cake. Great value for money,...
