'Panorama' Restaurant — Restaurant in Ourém

We had two panorama pizzas, one margarita and a chicken done in the oven and one serving of chips with desserts. The panorama pizza had plenty of mushroom but little bacon and ham and little tomato. A hair was found on one of them. The margarita did not have much tomato either. My daughter said the chicken was tasteless. Service was slow. The chicken was ready made so was served with the chips almost half hour before the pizzas.

We ate here a few months back. I had some codfish then and we also ordered steaks for the kids. That time the food was excellent. Next time will order meat or fish.

We ate lunch at the restaurant again on 4 September 2024. Grilled codfish was extremely horrible with a pathetic salad instead of legumes and some measly potatoes. Two salami pizzas looked like they were supermarket leftovers and been in the oven an hour too long. Only my younger kid ate his mini steaks well.

And service was very very poor to almost non-existent being charged for items we did not touch.

Definitely not visiting this...

Being SO CLOSE to sanctuary of Fatima (across the street) with so many tourists, Panorama Restaurant has lots of expectations to live up to and they succeed admirably. Their menu has lots of choices (both food and drink) and everything we had for our very large lunch - bread, cheese, olives, wine, and entrees - was delicious and for a good price. Carina, our server, was helpful and knowledgeable with selections, and took a nice picture (attached) of my wife and I making a toast. Cheated us on our credit card. We presented our cc card. The device then asked euros or dollars. I pushed Euros. The machine then asked if we accept the restaurants conversion to dollars and before I could reject it the owner hit yes and charged a 4% conversion fee. Pissed me off. Complete thief.
