Café Clipper — Restaurant in Ponta Delgada

My friend and I passed by this café at lunchtime and noticed the sign outside advertising pork chop buns. We were curious and decided to step in—and it turned out to be a great choice. The café is quite small, selling coffee, drinks, and even lottery tickets, but it’s clearly popular with the locals. We ordered a pork chop bun, a steak bun, some fried cod, and two beers. Fantastic place to have a drink and to grab traditional Portuguese bar food. Ricardo, the owner is an awesome guy, serves delicious prego no prato and bifanas, all rounded up with Azorean beer Munich. The guests are very friendly people and chatting while having a beer has never been so easy. Definitely one of the mandatory places when in Ponta Delgada!
