Really disappointing cos it looks like it would be a really nice place but it's a typical tourist trap sort of cafe. The wrap was so-so (and cold), pretty generic cafeteria food for that price. Had a really difficult time asking for sauce on my wrap. Considering it is in Ponta Delagada's most touristy area, I expected all little more ease in ordering, as I've had no issues communicating any other restaurant/shop in Azores or mainland. Burger was tasty though. Also, you will get swarmed by bold pigeons and gulls if you're outside. The worst part was the coffee however. I had a lot of good coffee in Portgual but this "cappuccino" was literally one of those packets you add hot water to. Terrible. A cafe should be ashamed of serving that "coffee".

This was a great place to grab a quick bite on a budget. Perfect for a quick essential breakfast. Coffee is delicious. There are pigeons around, so beware. Ultimately, this locale was a 2.5 at best. The meal was ok, the food was fine for the price and quantity but the flavor was too salty and too much protein. It feels wrong to out 2 sausages, 1 spoonful of beans, and bacon and eggs on the same plate. The coffee was perfect. The service was also poor, but we found this was the case in many restaurants (slow dinning) in Portugal and you don't get the check unless you ask for it (general Europe culture). Would only recommend if you want to grab a coffee or something light for the road.

I just went to buy a cake to take away for my boyfriend’s birthday. At first I was ignored by all staff. After I figured out that I first have to pay and then someone will see me, the very pretty small cake was squeezed into a box. When I shouted “no”, because the waitress was going to destroy the whole cake, she threw it to me saying that this was the only box she has. The problem was not the box, the problem was her negligent way of dealing with the beautiful bakery products and her extremely unfriendly service. The cake was delicious and it looked very pretty, even though she crushed the oreo. Therefore they even get 2 stars. But the service is horrible.

We had two experiences which were very contradictory. Once the food was good, the waitresses were nice, fast and efficient. The second time was not as good. The food was still good but the waitresses were extremely rude, slow and inefficient. We arrived and the outside area was full, I took a look inside the Cafe and it was empty so I asked if we can sit inside which they denied „The inside area is closed.“ I am sorry but that makes no sense at all if you have a completely full outside area you should open the inside seating arrangements whether you feel like it or not, it is unfriendly and poor customer management not to. Also no one comes towards you to explain were to wait or how to approach getting a table (no there are no signs either). So we approached a waitress to ask if they have space for four people. She didn’t even greet us and just said „Get in line“ I didn’t understand what she said the first time so I asked for her to repeat it again please, she basically screamed at me „GET IN LINE!“. That is absolutely unacceptable and there is no excuse for this behavior. We all have bad days but we were very nice and she had no reason to scream at me, mind you this is the first impression they deliver? Disappointing. As I said the food is fine, the Prego‘s taste good but are a little dry, the iced coffee is great and the „fresh cheese“ is not a cheese platter like usually served, it’s a special soft cheese from São Miguel. It would be nice to mention that as I was expecting something else. I would also like to add, the male waiters were honestly always friendly. They need to work on their customer service approach and need to focus on serving quality...

Quaint place to go for a snack and cocktails. Sweet servers. Good location. However, DO NOT go when you are any plans which are time sensitive, or if you really want a cocktail, especially something specific. First day, slow but good drinks and cocktails. Decent burgers. Went a day or two later, they were out of ice from the opening time so we were informed they couldn't make cocktails. They had no clue when they would serve them, which are a big part of their menu. Third visit: Slow slow slow service - but assumption it is due to being understaffed. Ordered cocktails after a slow delivered lunch. They forgot them. 30+ minutes later, we caught our waitress and asked. She was honest and admitted she had asked someone else to make them and they forgot as well as forgetting. Spent over two hours for two sandwiches and a beer each. Believe it or not, we do plan on trying to go again tomorrow. We WANT a cocktails and theirs were awesome on the first day. :) Edit: Staff was once again polite but overworked, out of nearly everything and seemingly overwhelmed. Management should be taking better care of their employees - which are as important as their customers. In my opinion, management must count on tourism to bring in a constant flow of customers. I don't see many others being as patient ti continue to try visiting again and again. Unfortnately,...

We went there after failing to find other places still serving lunch at 2:30. Usually when you arrive at a place you wait for someone to come talk to you and take you to a table, but we stood there for ages and no one even said "Hello". We eventually saw someone get up from a table and sat down. The table was messy and we waiting a bit for someone to come and clean it, but when someone came they just picked up the plates and then threw all food bits onto the floor without wiping the table or sweeping the food from the floor, it was really not a decent standard of cleanliness. The waitress looked miserable the whole time and like she couldn't be bothered serving anyone. The previous people that were at our table left more than half of their meal on the plate and we had low expectations, but their burger was ok although it felt overpriced when compared to similarly priced burgers elsewhere. When it was time to pay again we couldn't get anyone's attention. We stood by the register and staff would walk by us, do stuff behind the counter, chat among themselves and ignore us all this time. This was the worst service I've received in a very long time and especially when compared to the service from other nearby establishments where there's service...
