An absolute must for locals and tourists alike.
Not only is the atmosphere elegant, warm and inviting but the food is the true gem of this establishment.
Although this establishment has a two-page menu, you can taste the passion and love the chefs have for every one of these dishes. There’s something here for everyone.
Sarío, the gentleman who tended to our party for the evening, was very kind, humorous, and patient and even helped us practice our Portuguese!
I was amazed when I heard they had only been open for seventeen days (from the date of this review’s post). You never would have imagined them to be so new with the thoughtful décor, lovely choice in furniture, and, of course, the scrumptious food.
Thank you to all at Pedro Homem for making my birthday trip to my country of heritage one to remember!
(My recommendations are the cheese and tomato salad, the passion fruit ice cream desert, and the Gnocchi pasta dish)

Read moreGreat place. We came around 9pm on a Wednesday, and there were only a couple of other tables. It was our back up option after checking the menú on the restaurant nearby and not feeling it for the night.

The pasta showroom was super interesting, my parents were delighted (but I can see how other reviews may complain about the wait time, as it seems not a scalable model if the restaurant is full. The dessert was good, but a bit too much of the burned flavor for my test (it was a deeper creme brulée than I am used to). The presentation of the dessert was not in line with the other plates (but I really don't care :)). We got a bottle of local white wine for all of us. Bill came out to 83 euros total. I...

Cons:
Restaurant was not ready to open on time (5 minutes late) even though they state 6:30 PM, with the cook smoking outside. Service was slow and terrible; as the first customer with an empty restaurant, it still took 30 minutes to get everything. Lack of customer service orientation and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Food was just "OK"; the risotto was not outstanding, had barely any flavor, and needed more salt. Room for Improvement:
Ensure the restaurant is ready to open precisely at its stated time. Improve service speed and attentiveness, especially when the restaurant is empty. Provide customer service training to foster a more welcoming and efficient environment. Focus on improving food quality and flavor, particularly for dishes...
