This bar is a real find. On the second level of the area overlooking the Duoro river it is a great spot to try ports by small producers that you will otherwise likely not find. There are tables on the terrace which is a great place to watch the river, the boat traffic, and, of course, the people. Maria and Jerome, the owners, are present, a pleasure to talk to, and very knowledgable. As a small venue, it has only a couple of bottles of each class of port open at any point. We had done a port tasting at one of the port producer's across the river and this was by far a much better experience. While we didn't do aport tasting at Bacchus vini, the people next to us did one and it was much more extensive and informative than the ones across the river. Prices were very good compared to other places for a tasting.
