This place is obviously targeting international customers as even their regular menu is in English. I went in, saw "daily dish" and went to the bar to ask what the daily dish was. At first the lady didn't want to respond and told me to ask a waiter. From the side another colleague shouted "just sit down". In the same time they could have said two words "vegetarian or pork" but they chose to be complicated about it.
Kinda amicable rude if it was a traditional Portuguese place. In this case it was maybe an effect that sometimes takes place experiencing success. I'm glad I found a traditional place with great food and a drink for only 5€. No word in English, but...
Read moreInitially I went into this restaurant for food, however upon asking for a menu I was advised to take a seat and a waitress would be over to explain the menu to me.
I then waited for 20 minutes before I was acknowledged. When I was finally acknowledged, I asked for a coffee (to the waitress with the blue hair) and was then ignored for another 10 minutes!! During this time the table of 4 next to me was cleared and then served another course.
After 35 minutes I gave up and left - no communication from the servers.

The two lunch dishes, including bread and soup for starters, two beers and a lemonade cost us 15€.
If you're picky and need a lot of choices this is not the place for you. If you want to keep it on the cheap side of lunch this is a good spot!
