Ordered takeout for two persons. One vegetarian, one non-vegetarian. The non-vegetarian food was great as far as I know.
The vegetarian food was not good, at all. I even have my doubts about the food being vegetarian in the first place. The vegetable soup seems to have some kind of meat broth. The vegetarian Francesinha seems to have the traditional meat based sauce. The final nail in the coffin was the fact that the Francesinha has lettuce. Is pretty much the main ingredient. Who doesn't like a mushy, hot, dripping sauce lettuce. And how can you charge more for a Francesinha that consists of lettuce and tomato than a meat based one??
There are so many restaurants doing vegetarian francesinhas now, it's not that hard. You have vegetarian sausages available in pretty much every supermarket. You can use a wide variety of fresh mushrooms. You can caramelize some onions. You have vegetarian chorizos in many supermarkets as well. I won't ask you to know how to cook tofu or seitan, it's not even needed.
But for now, you are indeed in first place, when it comes to the worst vegetarian...

We arrived in the evening for dinner at this restaurant, which turned out to be bad, sadly.
After we sat down at the table, we were greeted by employees who quickly brought us menus and an appetizer.
We ordered a pizza and a fish, but unfortunately we received a rotten fish (which was recommended to be good by the chef, even though it smelled like it was rotten), and the pizza was ordered with a clear mention not to put a certain ingredient, which was ignored. Indeed, the fish menu was a large one, for a minimum of 2 people.
The waiter offered to change our fish, we chose beef steak for which again I mentioned that I didn't want egg on it, which again was ignored.
The meat we received tasted the same, spoiled, given this fact we could only eat the potatoes on the side, due to hunger and the late hour to find something else open.

Read moreFar from good experience. First, waiters just brought some snacks to table right after we got in. No information about price or asking. Naturally every item expensively charged at the end.
Service took too long! Incomparable waiting from other good traditional restaurants around (Capa Negra, Duvalia) and prices are higher.
For desert we ordered on slice of pudim. It was unbeatable. We were three and left it all over the table. No one asked us at the end “want it good” or showed any concern.
At the end an experience / restaurant to not repeat. Around the block there are very nice...
