O came here on a work event with menu food so my experience can be a bit different from a la carte dinner.

The waiters were great! Friendly, welcoming and fast serving the drinks which is perfect! The appetizers were not very good. I simple don’t understand the idea of getting a vegetable covered with egg and bread and deep fry it.

The two main dishes we had were amazing!!! Some of us had pork knee and others prawns “à Brás”. I tasted both, and both were great! The rice that came with the knee (cold cuts and cabbage rice was divine)

The desert was like a caramel puke ( the way it looked) and not great for me, but I’m also not a caramel fan.

Visited this place again today for lunch with a girl friend, and the waiters keep on being friendly ☺️

It was a sunny Autumn’s day, and it was simply delightful to have lunch on their balcony.

I had the sea bass and my friend had the sirloin “prego”. I didn’t taste the prego but the sea bass was great! The rice advertised that had many different sea food, but was manly mussels and seaweed. I found only half a shrimp 😅 Nevertheless it was very tasteful.

We had the bread, olive oil and butter as starters. The online oil was divine. The starters are a bit expensive as they cost 2€ per person, and it is just bread butter and olive oil…🤷‍♀️

I had a glass of wine with my lunch, and I was able to choose from 3 different wines.

Absolutely atrocious service! Waited for the bread (not even starters) for exactly 40 minutes. The food kept on arriving in chaotic order and unbelievable late. One person received his starter and main course AFTER everyone else on the table has finished their main courses. The waiter was serving us with an attitude as if we owe her something and she is doing us a favour. Disgusting attitude. We have asked for the manager and apparently he/she is not here on a Saturday lunch. How is that even possible? The busiest lunch of the week when every table table is taken and they don't even the capacity to serve customers on time and the manager is not at work.... The waiter also didnt clean empty glasses and bottles unless specifically asked. Extremely poor service.

I caught a beautiful spring evening while eating some tasty dinner in this beautiful restaurant getting back from Matosinhos beach. The place is very accessible from city centre by bus or Uber. Its worth mentioning that dinner service (full menu) only starts at 7p.m. After this there is plenty of options you can chose from. I decided to go with some fish food and sirloin stake, both of which were very good. The highlight of the dinner was leek soup with shrimp, it was easily one of the best soups I ever had. I had a problem with choosing right wine to go with the food but the staff was very friendly and gave me a taste of what they had by the glass. Overall a very pleasant experience and will...
