Today, I had the pleasure of visiting a truly magnificent cafe that exceeded all expectations. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a spacious, bright, and incredibly comfortable environment. It's clear they've put thought into the design, offering a diverse range of seating opportunities that invite you to settle in. This isn't your typical minimalistic co-working spot; it's a vibrant space that brims with color, warmth, and genuine care. With abundant real plants and natural materials, it feels like a grand living room or an open kitchen, encouraging conversation and connection. The food is incredibly fresh, and the coffees are really good, making for a delightful culinary experience. The service is outstanding, with staff who are not only attentive and authentically friendly but also capable of speaking a multitude of languages, which is a huge plus. While the music downstairs was a bit too loud for my preference, the upstairs volume was just right, allowing for comfortable conversation. Considering the exceptional quality of everything, the price is super fair, offering loads of bang for your buck, especially if you arrive really hungry! This cafe is perfect for foodies who appreciate a vibrant atmosphere and a place that truly comes alive with energy. It seems to attract a great crowd; we visited at 9 AM on a Saturday and the vibe was excellent, though I'm curious to see how packed it gets later in the day. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy multiple coffees and great food in a lively, welcoming setting, this is definitely the...
Read moreI’ve just visited this charming coffee shop called “STORY” in Porto, and I must say, it's an absolute gem!
From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the aroma of their high-quality, expertly-brewed specialty coffee from “Senzu” roastery. Their freshly-baked croissants and cookies were the perfect accompaniments to my delightful espresso experience.
The interior exudes a cozy ambiance, and I absolutely loved relaxing on their terrace while sipping my perfect espresso.
The staff at the coffee shop are incredibly warm and welcoming! Their genuine friendliness made my visits all the more enjoyable.
A special shoutout to the talented and handsome barista Alex, who is clearly dedicated to honing his skills in latte art! I was genuinely impressed with the latte art he was practising to pour. And let's not forget, he also brewed the best espresso I've had in the city!
The attention to detail and passion for coffee that this coffee shop exhibits is truly commendable! It's clear that the team takes pride in delivering a top-notch coffee experience!
From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. I can confidently say that this coffee shop has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Porto.
If you're a coffee enthusiast like me, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit – you won't be...
Read moreSurprisingly average food. Got takeaway breakfast for my dad and I, ordering the smoked salmon brunch, savoury baked Camembert, and French toast. Smoked salmon was nothing special, and could easily have been made at home for half the cost. But if you like a basic, healthy, and tasty breakfast, a good option. I was shocked and disappointed by the baked Camembert dish as it was literally just a whole Camembert with slices of raw garlic accompanied by bland bread and bland salad. No seasonings, no sauces… Again, could have easily made a nicer version at home for 1/2 the cost. In comparison, the French toast was nice, but overpriced and underwhelming compared to others I’ve had in Porto (such as the one at Garden brunch cafe which I recommend if you love French toast). For what you are getting, this place is surprisingly overpriced. Perhaps the cause of my unsatisfactory experience was getting the food takeaway, as everyone else seems to love this place. Or maybe I just ordered the most underwhelming dishes… either way, I...
