Pros: I absolutely loved this place. I’ve been to MANY hostels in my life but it was the first one where staff told me when I was leaving: “it was nice meeting you!” They brand themselves as family ran business I don’t know if they are family but definitely you could feel the aura of friendship, kindness and welcoming. The beds are attached to the wall so there is no issue with people going over or under your bed. The place is clean and smells nice. In the reception they also sell some cool sneakers. All was more than great 😊! 5 ⭐️ I’ve booked 1 night initially - I stayed 1 week. Cons: The only thing is missed was kitchen to cook - there is only microwave and kettle to heat up the water. It is not hostel dependent - there are bars and restaurants outside if you’re staying in the room by the main road prepare for very loud Friday / Saturday nights… and I mean reallyyyyyyy loud.

I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights. This is my favorite room there. I met Daniel and Alex, the friendly and helpful staff there. The location is good and the bed is comfortable. I enjoyed a lot in Porto and also the hostel. They allowed me to drop my backpack the last day when I went on a tour. I’d say that 4 days staying in Porto is even not enough. Thanks Hostel Invictus.

Location great, friendly staff. Not the best for early sleeping people as the music until 3-4 are coming from neighbour bars. The other option is taking advantage of the location and passing drunk

The star goes to the location — absolutely perfect for a stroll through the beautiful city of Porto! Then things got... interesting: Surprise! Turns out bike storage costs 5€ per bike, a detail mysteriously absent from any info beforehand. And the storage? It’s in a separate building about 50 meters away, managed by the Invictus Kiosk — which doesn’t open before 9am (so if you’re planning an early flight or, say, an 80km bike ride (like us), tough luck).

Fancy some nightlife? You won’t even have to leave the building! There’s a bar just downstairs, complete with loud music and terrace chatter echoing right into the room until late. Same with quite disrespectful and loud guests along the stairs and kitchen until late hours. Lockers? Cute, but small. Hooks and shelves? Fully booked — apparently by someone who’s made the place their semi-permanent residence. In short: great if you’re here to party and socialize. If you’re after actual sleep and functional basics... maybe pack some earplugs, a Zen mindset, and low...
