Uata?! Burger — Restaurant in Porto

Not bad but not great.

I was a bit underwhelmed after this experience as I had high expectations about this place and that it could compete with Maynard's, Brusco, Holy, etc... I was wrong but the food wasn't bad and they have room for improvement.

Ordered the Double Smash Bacon and it was good but not that "smash"... The patty was hefty and thick, it tasted alright but not the smash I know and love with the caramelized edges from being thinned out with force by a spatula.

The "supreme" fries were very disappointing because the sauce was clearly a cheap one and the meats were very dry and only salty, there was no taste at all there.

The staff was nice but the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive because the place was empty and they already served the other 2 customers there.

Another negative thing to mention are the sauces they put on the table, excellent idea but the sauces were strange and the mustard one was simply awful, in what world is a mustard sauce white?!

Hope it gets better because they have cool ideas, we spent more than 40€ and they offered a spin on a wheel to win prizes and that's always fun, but it will take more than a "wheel of fortune" to...

Após alguma desorientação e agitação, lá chegamos a este restaurante, que se localiza numa zona mais recôndita do centro do porto. Não obstante, é uma localização perfeitamente adequada, sendo que vai de encontro à visão mais "underground" que este franchising pretende transmitir. Antes de mais, deixo o meu rasgado elogio à menina que nos atendeu. A sua simpatia e disponibilidade (e beleza, diga-se de passagem) eram de dimensões arrebatadoras. Celeremente nos fez sentir acolhidos e confortáveis, esclareceu-nos todas as nossas dúvidas, e estabilizou as nossas oscilações relativamente ao que escolher, sempre com um sorriso no rosto, que se fazia ver mesmo através da maldita máscara. É importante mencionar também o tipo de música que se fazia passar de forma assumida neste estabelecimento. Toda a nossa estadia foi acompanhada com belíssimas canções de música popular brasileira, ajudando assim a aumentar os níveis de serotonina em toda a atmosfera. Falando agora do cardápio que pude experimentar. Sem sombra de dúvida, o ponto forte do hambúrguer (Vulcan) é a abundância de queijo, que de forma inevitável acaba por se esvair para o prato à medida que este é abordado. O pão de brioche, decorado na fatia de cima com um estampado janota, demarca-se dos restantes, tendo um paladar subtilmente doce e uma textura macia. Dos 4 molhos diferentes, dou destaque ao picante e ao molho da casa. O molho verde, apesar do apelo visual, na minha ótica requer mais personalidade e apuramento. O destaque menos feliz passa pela temperatura da comida, que podia ser um pouco mais cálida. Com muita pena minha, não pude indagar nos registos doces que os shakes têm para oferecer, uma vez que já estava na hora de fecho da cozinha. Slow service, average food and messy atmosphere. We went on new years eve, and the service was extremely slow and messy, they were giving priority to the UberEATS delivery rather then the clients on the store, and the UberEATS others were taking a hour still to be ready.

Our other comes as follows: first one burger, with cold supermarket fries, 20 min later the other burger, 10 min after the drinks, and the last burger never arrived.

Honestly, don't recommend, the meat they serve is great, but everything else is not worth your time. They're better...
