La Piazza in Souq Waqif was a great find for a delicious Italian meal. I ordered the calabrese, which was a spicy sausage and mushroom pizza. It was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and a generous amount of toppings. The flavors were well balanced and the sausage had a nice kick to it. The passion fruit juice is nicely done but the to-go order is very sugary and was prepared very badly.
The restaurant itself is located in the bustling Souq Waqif market, which gives it a lively and authentic atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is spacious and allows for a great view of the market.

Racist Resturant manager! The worst unexpected experience in Qatar during the World Cup time.. Dec. 10, we came in to have lunch as we saw 4 empty & available tables,But this racist unprofessional person prevented us me & my friend to just sit on the available tables that we see, claiming that there is a waiting list .. we said okay despite these ppl are not here already we want to write our names on the list, he refused !!!!.. of course there were no list, no paper, no names .. Used to be good in the past but very dissapointing today. The breakfast spread is pathetic. Very limited choice for the price of Qr85. No sausages , hashbrown, mushrooms, waffles. Fruits not superb. Orange juice and the fruit too sour. Waiter told me they serve only half buffet today... Unfortunately we were charged the normal ( full buffet price) . I asked the waitress a big cup since its not visible at the juice corner. SHE Asked me to go and take MYSELF. If its visible I would gladly take MYSELF!!
