Shaorma La Băiatu — Restaurant in Bucharest

The last time I ordered from here I bought chicken wings and they were so old almost rotten inside! I can’t believe they would sell something like this. The smell alone made me almost throw up. I will never buy from them ever again only because of this last order.

Shaorma was good 3 out of 5 times. Sometimes the meat is just burned and is not good to eat. Another time I ordered beef as usual and they sent me chicken, and I had to go there and complain to get a beef one, and the beef was again burned.

Definitely NOT the best shaorma in town, try Dristor Kebab for that! A huge difference, but also more pricey and a much better quality.

The staff is almost friendly, when they gave me the almost rotten chicken wings they didn’t even apologized, their answer was “we can give you something else in return or money back” without any “sorry”.

The place is cheap, and it might be ok if you dont have more money for a decent meal somewhere next by. There are much better places to eat at Amzei Square at 3 min...

Am lasat review initial ieri dupa ce mancasem o shaorma de vita (am vrut de pui dar nu mai era) shaorma de vita a fost cauciuc si oribila, nu recomand asa ceva, mancare de caini.

Astazi, am zis sa mai dau Baiatului inca o sansa totusi tinand cont ca eu mananc aici de cam ~10 ani ocazional si mai aduc si lume cu mine nu de putine ori, am luat una de pui mare.

Problemele sunt in felul urmator:

Trecem peste faptul ca nu m-a intrebat fata de la casa ce suc vreau cand am comandat si a trebuit sa intreb eu de el.

Shaormarul in timp ce taia puiul de pe tepusa, a gasit un os sau altceva in carne, pe care l-a scos cu mana dreapta fara manusa, mana cu care tinea manerul sabiei de taiat, a atins carnea cu mana..... a scos osul si l-a aruncat.

Incepe baiatul cu tatuaje si fara un dinte (nu zic ca sa il insult, ci pentru identificare, acum aprox ~2 ore) sa faca shaorma, INAINTE sa inceapa sa puna ingredientele in ea (erau doar cartofi,carne si lipia), ma intreaba ce sos vreau, i-am spus sa mai puna niste cartofi in ea, el in loc sa puna cartofii ... m-a intrebat inca odata ce sosuri vreau si a inceput sa imi puna toppingurile, m am gandit ca mai adauga la final din moment ce i-am zis sa mai puna ca sa imi faca o shaorma cum vreau eu, nu cum vrea el.

Pune sosurile si celelalte toppinguri, il rog din nou sa imi mai puna niste cartofi dupa cum i-am zis initial, mi-a zis ca nu se poate, am stat foarte serios pe ganduri daca sa fac circ in locatie si sa imi cer banii inapoi, sa refuz comanda, nu era nici doamna de la casa deranjata de nemultumirea mea, m-am rezumat la a lasa review si a transmite pe aceasta cale sefului ca nu asa se procedeaza cand un client cere ceva, am luat shaorma Mare, nu mica sau medie ca sa imi zica ca nu se poate, ma astept sa fie facuta asa cum vreau eu, i-am cerut niste amarat de cartof in plus pentru ca asa imi place sa o mananc, sa puna toppinguri mai putine din celelalte daca considera ca 2-3 fasiute extra de cartof sar peste buget, de aia i-am si specificat de la inceput inainte sa puna altceva in ea ca vreau putin mai multi cartofi decat a pus.

Este de apreciat totusi ca mi-a spus sa am pofta cand mi-a inmanat comanda, dar ar fi fost de preferat sa imi faca si shaorma cum i-am spus de la inceput.

Este o vorba, un restaurant este la fel de bun precum ultima lui servire, practic experienta asta si vita nasoala de ieri anuleaza 10 ani de istorie pentru mine si ma face sa dau review mic.

O sa revin in cateva luni, comenzi de la mine nu or sa mai fie o perioada, updatez atunci reviewul...

I went to this place as it has quick and usually good food. Today it was one of the worst if not the worst food related experiences. I ordered the big size shaorma, only to receive only a couple of pieces of meat. I didn't notice until my friend who ordered the smallest one had a more "friendly" size. Bigger was an understatement. The server heard me and asked if we should weigh the meat. I said sure go ahead. At 45 g on the scale he quit and threw the shaorma screaming : " this is how you are! you Romanians!". I just said ok. I'm going out, with him screaming and cussing all over. Ordered a bolt only to have the same guy open the door of my bolt after I got on. I don't care if he wanted to apologize. He made things worse. The owner has the cameras and he can check how things...
