Revolution Square is a curve shaped square located in central Moscow. It links Theatre Square at Teatralny Proezd to Manezhnaya Square in front of the Red Square and Kremlin not far away.

There are impressive historical buildings such as Hotel Metropole as well as interesting monuments like the Karl Marx Monument and the Vitali Fountain which can be at the northeast end of the square.

Near the Red Square, you can see the Zero Kilometre, Monument to Marshal Zhukov and the World Clock Fountain along with the State Historical Museum, Resurrection Gate and other famous buildings of the Red Square.

Но сюда ходят не только за красотой: тут стоят 78 статуй работы скульптора Манизера двадцати разных видов, и почти у всех что-нибудь натерто до блеска. Студенты приходят погладить нос и лапку собаки пограничника, чтобы сдать сессию. Причём бауманцы, например, гладят ту из четырёх собак, которая смотрит в сторону поездов, уходящих на "Бауманскую".
