Restaurant located nearby the Red Square on one of the main roads. It's really hard to miss. At the entrance there's a big menu so you can check what 'Il Pizzaiolo' is offering. Menu is in Russian as well as in English. The restaurant itself is not big - just about 15 tables (+/-). But it's not an problem, this way you can feel the sense of cozy place.
I ordered tomato cream with bruschetta. Both were very good and almost like in Italy. For the main course I took beef roasted steak. It was good, eatable but very thin and it was more like meatloaf.
The only thing which is negative about this place are waiters. They are quick and friendly but they stands near tables and you can constantly feel that they observe you. Why? To get your plate as soon as possible. On one side it's good but I had meat in mouth and they already took my plate. It wasn't nice feeling.
You can pay in cash or credit card. I used Revolut without any problem. What I also didn't like is that I wanted to pay contactless but before that I'm always checking the amount (if it's not too late). Waiter just grabbed my card and put in to device's screen to pay contactless. Fortunately amount was ok.
Will I return? Moscow is big and there are many restaurant waiting for my discovery.

Read moreNestled in the heart of Moscow, Il Pizzaiolo is a slice of Italian paradise with its warm ambience of rustic Italian décor.
The spinach and ricotta ravioli stole the show with its delicate flavours and perfectly cooked pasta. Each bite was a burst of creamy goodness that left me craving for more.
The pumpkin soup was like a hug in a bowl. Rich, velvety, and seasoned to perfection, it was the ideal comfort food on a snowy Moscow afternoon.
To complement my meal, I sipped on Limoncello, which transported me to the sun-kissed streets of Italy. It was refreshing, balanced, and served with a smile.
It's evident that the chef pours heart and soul into every dish. Il Pizzaiolo exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're craving authentic Italian flavours or simply looking for a cosy dining spot, this restaurant is a must-visit in Moscow.

Read moreBest pizza & pasta I've tried yet. We ordered the margarita pizza, tagliatelle alla norma with aubergines and Ricotta, we asked them to make a white sauce pasta with chicken & mushrooms because it wasn't on the menu. All the dishes were my favorite. Truly loved them. Also there was this one girl with a bow on her hair, she was working on Friday during 10pm. She was the most hard working employee I've ever seen. She deserves a raise. She took orders for all the tables, cleaned, served, everything. The best part was that even though she was exhausted she always kept a smile...
