My wife and I came here for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service staff was very pleasant. We were happy to find an organic restaurant such as this in Moscow. The decor was rustic, and barn-like which fit the theme of the restaurant well. It is a bit tucked away on Petrovka Ulitsa so keep your eyes open when trying to locate it. This restaurant is great for pretty much any kind of setting whether it be a business meeting or dinner with friends.
My wife ordered the very delicious beef dumplings. This version of the classic pelmeni was smoother in a creamy truffle sauce. I ordered the borsch for starters and I must say it was one of the best ones I have had in all of my two months in Moscow. This soup comes with a healthy portion of brisket and a side of sour cream. I also ordered the duck leg confit which was perfectly tender and the buckwheat was a great complimentary side. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone looking for a modern twist to local...
Read moreGreat food, nice atmosphere and good service! We first came for a Sunday brunch, the restaurant is cosy, and personnel very welcoming. We had a great time with friends. Menu is original, but everything we ordered was very tasty! Carrot hummus, duck pate and honey cake were so delicious!! Also went to LavkaLavka for a special wine dinner. Found it amazing!! Fine cuisine, delicious and beautiful, presentation of each dish and wine was very well done. The set consisted of 5 dishes (Sakhalin scallop carpaccio, Halibut with crab biscuit, Profiteroles with duck pate and cherries, Haunch of deer with mushrooms, Cheese dessert), each accompanied by a glass of special wine. I am very sceptic about Russian wine, but this time I was not disappointed ) Don't miss the next dinner like this! It costs 2900 rubles, and this is a very fair price for the quality of the food you get! Very glad we have restaurants like this in Moscow ) Will definitely come again and recommend this place to...
Read moreWe had to wait for 15min to get our reserved table because the people had not yet left when we arrived. It was still however okay, the staff guided us to the bar and we got a table quite soon afterwards.
The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. Restaurant does not get a 5 star rating because my duck breast could have been tastier. Otherwise we had awesome meat and cheese plates for starters. The cheese plate was a little bit heavy for me but I am sure all the lovers of French cheeses would love it. Dessert were probably the best I have tasted in Moscow. We had the triple chocolate and this different version of creme brulee/crema catalana in a form of sticks. Both were delicious.
And the service was spot on. Really friendly waiters and waitresses. All spoke good...
