We left disappointed. We felt like we had eaten in a canteen. It wasn’t bad, but it had nothing to do with Italian cuisine. We love Italian food, and the night before we had an excellent dinner in another restaurant—for the same price, but on a completely different level. I had the feeling that the food here wasn’t fresh, just reheated. Service. I have mixed feelings. The waiter was smiling and seemed friendly. But there were a few small things that left a bad impression. We wanted to pay and leave, but he made us wait for a long time while he chatted with other customers, completely ignoring us. I would understand if he had been busy taking orders, but he kept walking back and forth and talking, while we waited for more than half an hour. That was frustrating. Also, when my partner had finished eating but I hadn’t, he took away the olive oil from our table and gave it to other customers. I still needed it—it wasn’t thoughtful of him at all. He didn’t even ask if we were done. I wanted to order dessert and coffee, but after such a disappointing experience, I just didn’t feel like it anymore.
Overall, we didn’t feel comfortable or welcome. It’s strange because just yesterday, in another restaurant only 10 minutes away, we had a great meal and a very pleasant atmosphere.
I don’t want this restaurant to be upset with me—I’m just sharing my honest opinion and comparing it with another...
Read moreWe were warmly greeted upon our arrival. We asked to sit outside. We sat down at the table, which wasn't cleaned, and when the waiter came to set the table, he simply wiped the crumbs off with his hand and never cleaned the table.
I like the idea of pairing a pasta with a main dish for a set price. They say it's a first, second, and side. We started with some type of stuffed eggplant. It wasn't bad. Then the pasta, which was my favorite of all the dishes. However, the rabbit had a few small bones in it, which I didn't notice until after I started eating. The first one I found I thought was just an oversight, so I proceeded to eat it cautiously. Then I found a second bone, at which point I stopped eating it. It wasn't that great, so don't feel as though I missed out by not eating it.

Read moreFood was amazing. Went above our expectations, service was also excellent, very attentive and friendly. They brought out a delicious wee bread with tomato cheese and prosciutto on the house to start, which we didn’t expect. Had the beef carpaccio for starter, it was generous and delicious. My friend got the octopus which was the best she’s had in Europe and I got the rabbit which is a specialty and traditional dish of San Marino - it was amazing!! I asked our awesome waitress Fadwa to recommend a wine to pair with it, she checked if I prefer red or white and when I said white she even checked if I like bubbly or still. The wine was perfect. Couldn’t ask for better. Good value...
