I had made a two-day reservation and paid 100 euros for 2 days. The hotel's check-out time is 11 am. I sent a message to the hotel's reception via WhatsApp late in the evening the day before, and explained my situation. I told them that I would extend my check-out time from 11 am to 4 pm the next day and that I would pay the necessary fee.
The hotel reception answered me at 7 in the morning and said that I had to pay for a day to extend my stay and said it was 40 euros. When I woke up at around 10 in the morning, I saw the message and when I went to the reception to make the payment, they told me that this room was booked by someone else, I can only transfer you to the apartment section and I requested the fee as 65 euros. I tried to explain the situation and said that I left a message the night before. But the reception said that we start working at 7, you wrote at night, you have to write at 7, but they wanted me to change my room by paying 65 euros. We came here for so many holidays and even though I sent messages, they did not solve this situation, they did not do anything, and their behavior was extremely bad, they neither explained properly nor helped. Their aim was only to get more money and did not provide a solution. I traveled to so many countries and stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I had encountered a bad hotel in my life, it was extremely bad. I complain about this situation and I tell tourists who come to travel, do not stay at this hotel if necessary, when you have a problem they only look for...
Read moreI stayed 5 nights at Prince Hall in two ‘blocks’. For the first block I stayed in a room that was more like an apartment with a small kitchen with full sized fridge - it was pretty glam! It faced the main street and never got too loud to sleep. It was a great room to spend 5 days. Two things I would say could be improved about this room: (1) more amenities in the kitchen. It seemed like you could cook in there, but you’d have to bring your own cutlery, crockery etc. Didn’t bother me as I didn’t plan to cook at all! (2) the room needs thicker curtains. It never got truly dark which made it harder for me to sleep. ||||The second time I stayed at Prince Hall this holiday I was in one of the more modern rooms. This was much smaller than the other room, but also more up to date. Perfect for a one or two night stay as mine was! ||||The location is so good for exploring Belgrade on foot. It’s right in the middle of Kneza Mihaila so there are plenty of dining options on the doorstep, a quick walk to the fortress and Republic Square, 20 mins to Saint Sava and Nikola Tesla museum.., everywhere!||||What really made Prince Hall for me though were the ladies on reception! Super friendly and kind, they even called the train station for me when I didn’t understand something about my onward journey. Best hotel staff I’ve ever met!||||If I go back to Belgrade, which I certainly would, I would stay here again...
Read moreThe best location! Within 500m walking distance to nearly all of Belgrade's key sights. Perfect if you have a short stay and not much time to sightsee - I could do a 45 minute walking-jogging tour in the morning and see all the main sights. Affordable bakeries nearby too. The hotel is located on Knez Mikhailova, the main pedestrian promenade and shopping street through the city, and it's a lovely street to walk down in the sun. Lovely clean room and spacious bathroom with complimentary bottles of water and refreshments. I booked for the same day (after the previous hotel I had booked didn't exist!) and Suzana from reception stayed late to welcome me personally. The reception was very helpful with everything needed and booked a great value taxi transfer to the airport the next day. The price of the hotel is very reasonable and very worth it....
