Lonče — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

hate to tell you that this is the best little restaurant in the neighbourhood, as I wish to keep it secret, because you have to be on time, preferably at the time of traditional Serbian lunch, at two pm - as the day goes buy, there is less and less items from the menu available. but, everything is superfresh.

the waitress will roll her eyes if you ask for ketchup, ( you still get it) and push for cooked meals and soups,so be a nice tourist and don't order grill. that you can eat about everywhere.

no sweets, even they are on the menu, due to not enough kitchen staff. we didn't mind, but we try to order...

The food is okay, but there are so many better restaurants around. My problem is the one particular waiter who didn’t respect my vegan friend. My friend asked for integral pasta without parmesan, the first time he brought it with parmesan, and we asked to change it, his answer was: “and what do we do about it now”, we were kinda baffled and he asked for my confirmation did he say without parmesan or not. After I confirmed, he returned it but next time brought white pasta and not integral, which would mean with eggs. Such unprofessional attitude and disrespect. This was May 16th...

The service in the restaurant was great. Before 2 years it was not, the waitress was rude and slow. Now I saw they have new and better staff. From my experience " Uštipci od tikvica" -zucchini bread not tasty Mediterranean breakfast- great Greek salad - really great ( the situation before with that waitress was that she wanted to take my plate because onions smell - hope that she doesn't work anymore) Salmon in spinach and tomato sauce ( on the pictures)...
