A very enjoyable week-long stay and would highly recommend. The location is right in the heart of the old city, so you’ll be close to main attractions, shopping, groceries, bakeries and transport around the whole of Belgrade. Plus, there’s swipe card access when reception isn’t manned and to each floor, so it’s very secure. The staff were always friendly and helpful, too and were very quick to respond to communications before my stay. The room itself was excellent — it was clean, modern and well equipped. Firstly, it’s spacious and has a coffee table and lounge chair as well, so you can relax in the room if you want to as well. In addition, I had ample wardrobe space, a great shower, mini bar, coffee machine, kettle with tea and milk provided also, Netflix for free, a very effective air conditioner and opening windows. I found it helpful that the room also had drapes that really blocked out light, because it got light outside early! My room also had a small balcony, which was nice. Plus, the bed was comfortable.
I’ve stayed here once before and it was great then too, but they’ve since made some changes which have improved the experience. Reading through older reviews, I’d say all the key complaints have been addressed.
Highly recommend One Luxury Suites, I don’t think you...
Read moreThe staff is what makes this place stand out. We interacted with a few of them from different shifts, and they were always nice and happy to help. Since we didn’t speak the language, we asked them to call the ferry service between Serbia and Romania for us to confirm it was operational and the schedule. It was important for us since we were bike touring and didn’t want to ride there to find out it was not in service and without any lodging nearby. ||We stayed in a suite with a huge hot tub in the bathroom. It was crazy big. We actually didn’t use it but booked a big room to accommodate our bikes. It turned out that we were able to store the bikes in one of their storage rooms, so we had lots of room.||The only downsides to this suite was that the terrace didn’t have any sort of view, and there was only one a/c unit in the living room, which meant that it had to also cool the bedroom. I would say it was underpowered but adequate enough.||The location was also near all the pedestrian-friendly places, restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. I was surprised to see so many bubble tea joints, more than what we have in the...
Read moreVery centrally located boutique hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated, in excellent condition, well maintained and steps away from the main pedestrian street with lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and street entertainment. The staff is friendly and helpful with very good English. No communication issues. They offer airport transfer service as well for a reasonable price. The rooms may be on the small side for some but for such a central location it is a typical urban tradeoff.
UPDATE: I have stayed here twice more on my business trips. The staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful. On my first trip I'd left a laptop USB charger in the room. They didn't know I was going to visit again but I also didn't bother trying to get it back because I did not know if or when I would be back in Belgrade. 6 weeks later, as soon as I was checking in, they presented me with my laptop charger and said I'd left it in my room on the last visit. Spot on - they saved it for me even though they didn't know I was returning. And as soon as I returned they had it prepared for me. They truly are attentive to...
