X.WANG's kitchen — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

BY FAR, THE WORST MEAL I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!

We got served the soggiest sweet and sour chicken on a dirty plate. The spare ribs were all bones, no meat (also no flavour), despite what it looked like on the menu image. Also, they had a rotten stank to them. The waiter didn’t speak English nor Serbian, so the only solution we were offered was to get yelled by the restaurant owner on the phone. Her answer to our complaint was that she has owned this restaurant for 7 years. After paying the full amount, we weren’t given a receipt of any sorts.

Please avoid this restaurant if you respect food and care about your health.

Answer to review shows how unprofessional the owner is! It is not true we didn’t want to pay for the bill. That is non sense, we asked for the bill and waited for the server to change us! Dear lady, you are talking to someone who is in hospitality business over 20 years and tried food all over the planet!!!

The food in this place is a HEALTH HAZARD. We pointed this out to the owner - that the meat is probably rotten since it smelled like a landfill, but then, the owner threatened that if we put in a bad review that they'll then reply that we refused to pay which was not the case. We payed for the food and left without eating the food since we were scared for our health.

*edited after reply from owner: He just threated again to sue. This is my answer to his reply: By all means, do show us the surveillance footage. You can post it online even. But you're not going to, since everything you say is simply not true and you're bluffing. Plus you just proved our story- that you make threats to make us back down. So please, sue us - if you have a leg to stand on that is. But you don't. And if your lawyer wants to see me, they can come to my office after making an appointment. We lawyers can work...

Before closing in autumn 2024 it was a good place and I enjoyed it very much. After opening it became bad and I stopped coming here. Complaints: 1.⁠ ⁠The new cook is cooking disgustingly. Everything is tasteless, not good and without professionalism. The dish serving is "sloppy". That's why the restaurant is now always half empty and there are almost no guests. Previously, there was a stylish beautiful presentation of dishes. Now these are some strange round plates, like in a student cafeteria. There is a pile of food on the plate looking neither beautiful nor appetizing. Ugly presentation of food in the style of "enjoy and shut up."
