We went here because of the reviews we saw on the website and it was close to our hotel!!!but I must say it was even better than the reviews we start talking because I had a (Lululemon bag with me for those of you who don’t know who Lululemon i is it’s a work our company from Canada ) the owner waitress Courtney was so accommodating and so personable that it made me even like the restaurant more she and her husband Tom who is a native to Bratislava She’s from Canada came back to start this business up The chicken schnitzels and mashed potatoes was perfect I must say it was the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in a long time also I had a salad with Canterbury cheese and cranberries on top which was perfect for what my needs were that evening the wine was good I had a cup of fruit tea I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area it was so reasonably priced The liquor the food try to make a stop if you’re in the area you won’t regret it

If you want to try the best authentic Slovakian food, this is definitely the right place. The staff was very attentive and kindly helped me and gave me recommendations. They also had a nice playlist, which made the atmosphere even better. As for the food, I first tried the garlic soup and it was like eating a piece of heaven - creamy, warm, and with the right amount of garlic. It was definitely the perfect choice to start my meal. Then I had the bryndzové halušky, the national dish of the country, which consists of potato dumplings with sheep cheese and bacon. The mild, creamy cheese combined perfectly with the salty, crunchy bacon, making this dish the star of the dinner. Finally, I tried the strudel with poppy seeds, and it was simply the best way to end my night. I highly recommend this restaurant!

To start with the good things: The food was delicious and the prices were fair. Our server was very nice when greeting us and answered our questions regarding the menu and gave recommendations. But the time to get our food....the wait was ridiculous. My soup arrived 40 minutes after we ordered. It was warm and not hot. We were on a side table, so we couldn't really see where our server was, and were just planning to ask what's happening with our order, thinking we've been forgotten. The rest of our order (stuffed potatoes, chicken in potatoes pancake, schnitzel) took another 40 minutes to arrive, and it was only after I went and asked what's going on, because it has been over an hour just sitting there. They have ran out of the side of one of our dishes and switched it without asking if it was OK or what we'd like instead. At that point, we've waited for so long that we hardly cared. While we waited for the food, we've not been checked even once besides bringing our drinks, and eventually soup. Took their sweet time bringing...
