BEMBA - rawfood & plant-based — Restaurant in Bratislava

I visited Bemba on my way to another vegan restaurant, where I noticed their small plaque and offer. And i thought why not try something new? That day their menu was tomato soup and ratatouille. They used the same soup as a sauce for ratatouille. The food itself was not bad, but little bit pricey. The soup was little bit sweeter than I like, but it's all about your preference, as a souce it worked perfectly. The menu cost 10€ which is on the higher side, and it's hard for me to justify the price for the food, but also I understand, especially in these times. I was not hungry after finish which is good.

I should start this by saying I am a meat eater by default and will continue to be so. However, I enjoy all types of cuisine. This was both a super tasty and filling meal. Coming from Brighton (UK) I have tried a variety of vegetarian meals and this is easily an equal to the best - if not better. The (soft) tacos were a genuinely good - the menu description did not do it justice and I think they should have photos on their menus to help the uninitiated such as myself. The service was fantastic and friendly - they have English menus inside, so ask for those if you don't see them. Vegetarians and vegans in Bratislava - this is your new favourite place.
