Impressive classic service, staff are motivated and professional. As the name suggests steak is the main offering, if you opt for the Slovak steak it is about 10 EUR cheaper than the US prime. However, the main difference between the two is that the local option has more flavour and is arguably therefore better. The wine selection is great although the prices reflect the quality and start at 35 EUR, there is a Sommelier who can advise. We have been lucky with finding a walk in table mid week but booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Interestingly a seafood restaurant is part of the same house and you will be asked which restaurant you would like to attend. The seafood is fab and the Irish Supreme Oysters are a must try and the best I've had possibly ever. They also offer a more limited steak menu but the same high quality in addition to the seafood dishes which are Italian in style and should keep everyone happy. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and great value when you consider the location, service and overall dinning experience. A rare gem on a very...
Read moreThere were a few unpleasant incidents with the waiter. Since we were celebrating a birthday and some people came early. My friends approached the waiter and asked to put the cake in the fridge, which was refused and aggression in their direction, after a few minutes of persuasion, the request was fulfilled

At the end of the dinner we asked to bring a lunch box to take OUR cake with us, the waiter said that they do not have a box and eventually after persuasion and arguments the box was found, as well as the waiter threw away all the additional decoration of the cake (photos) and then proved that we are to blame for the fact that he did it
After all this, the waiter aggressively asked for tips, which was refused, because in a complex all the attitude to us is not a quality service.

Read moreI recently dined at d.steakhouse in Bratislava and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the ribeye, 28 days dry-aged, from a local Simmental cow, and it was a fantastic choice. The steak was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and incredibly tender, reflecting the high quality of the local beef.
For my side dish, I opted for the Mediterranean grilled vegetables, which were equally impressive. The veggies were well-seasoned and grilled to perfection, offering a delightful balance and a burst of flavors that complemented the steak beautifully.
The peppercorn sauce was the perfect accompaniment, adding a subtle, yet delicious, kick without overpowering the main dish. It tied the meal together wonderfully.
Overall, my dining experience at d.steakhouse was superb. The attention to detail, the quality of the ingredients, and the expert preparation made for an unforgettable meal. Highly...
