~ if i could give 6 stars out of 5, i honestly would. a wonderful place with absolutely wonderful food, friendly crew and quiet, plelasant atmosphere. this was our first ramen experience, and Kazu has set the plank for any ramen we'd ever eat extremely high. the broth in each ramen is rich on taste (really very flavorful), miso broth is thick and creamy in texture. the meat is heavenly delicious, and marinated eggs taste like heaven too. my personal favorite will be vegetable ramen which is just hands down the best thing i have tasted in my whole life (:D) there is also a variety of side-dishes available, which are all very good and freshly made. for tea-lovers there are three teas to choose from, our favorite is the one with roasted rice (and absolute must!). the only thing i would mention to the person who will be coming for the first time: the portions are HUGE. and this is a plus! but then, for those who physically can't eat over 800g at a time, i'd recommend taking ramen with half the noodles, might not be suitable for everyone, but works perfectly for me, so maybe someone finds it helpful :) cheers Kazu, and thanks again for making all this great food! \o/

After traveling a while, all we wanted was something Asian and soupy . We were glad that we found this place and it was in the downtown Bratislava shopping area. To be honest, we didn’t have too much of hope to find authentic Ramen shop in this area given there aren’t too many Asians here at all. But after we give a try, even though the Ramen did not taste as authentic to Japanese standard, the broth was a little bit too salty and not thick enough, and Ramen was cooked a little bit too soft, but the pork Charshu was very delicious, however, given its location , I have to say it was not bad for this area. Hence four stars. They also had a few good selection of sake , not many, only a few. They mainly had beer since this is a beer popular area. The atmosphere was comfortable with rustic simple interior design. Service was very friendly. I do like to recommend this place for any Asians or Asian food lovers who happen to travel to this area and looking for something soupy to eat. @winedinenvacay

Super delicious ramen and other goodies. I tried the Shio Ramen and it was really really amazing. The noodles have been surely self-made since they had typical knife cuts. The broth had a perfect taste while not being too powerful. In combination with the bamboo (which was really tasty itself), it was an amazing experience I might have to eat again these days. Apart from that I ate Gyoza (which are made with chicken), which was crispy, lightweight and in combination with the strong soy sauce, very tasty. The Edamame was made to perfection - not too soft and not too hard (I rarely find them steamed on point). If you are around and you are into Ramen, this place won’t let you down for sure!

Wow, I've said this already on a few reviews but I was really not expecting the great quality Japanese food I had on my recent trip to Slovakia and Austria. I'll sound like a broken record if you look at some of my other reviews but I wandered in here on a whim while walking around. It was cold and Ramen sounded really good.

The chefs greeted me in Japanese and I was seated quickly at a table. It was pretty late so the place wasn't too crowded. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with extra Chashu (pork), and while I had my reservations I ordered the Tuna Sashimi dish after staring at the menu card for a bit.

The Ramen was pretty amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The toppings were excellent (actually a bit better than what I usually get in the US) and I downed the whole thing pretty quickly.

The tuna sashimi was also excellent. I wasn't expecting much given how far Bratislava is from the ocean but I live in Denver and get extraordinary sushi there all the time (world economy people). While I wouldn't put it on the top of any lists it gets a solid 4 out of 5. The soy sauce and wasabi were different from what I get in the US (I think this was better) so don't look for the super-salty kikkoman stuff you get there.

Anyway, this place is legit and I highly recommend getting a meal here! Thanks for a...

We came around 5 pm on Monday, Dec 12 and the customer service was amazing. The sweet lady looked tired but still managed to smile and serve us kindly. When we entered the restaurant, a nice man greeted us as we walked in. Customer Service was amazing and very pleasant.

The food was prepared and served to us shortly after we ordered and the quality of the food was great. The noodles, soup and karaage were delicious and very satisfying. The portions served were perfect and all of us were satisfied afterward. The Karaage Ramen was spectacular and very scrumptious. Actually the best ramen restaurant we have ever been to and ate at. My father who was there with me doesnt really like ramen but was enjoying small bites of ramen from me and my sister. Overall was very pleased with the food.

The atmosphere was very relaxing. After a long day of exploring and walking around, we finally settled down in this restaurant. The seats were comfortable and the music was very calming. The decor of the place was very beautiful and well done. The lighting was good and layout of the restaurant was great.

Overall, was a great end to our tiresome day and we are very satisfied with our experience here at Ramen Kazu. Thank you for the...
