Lochness Scottish Pub — Restaurant in Bratislava

A staple of Scottish stag dos in Bratislava. There were a few in when we were there. Not sure what makes it a Scottish bar as the decor was pretty standard and the beers on tap were the same as everywhere else. I think there were a few forcedly Scottish menu items displayed on the wall to which we were like "never heard of it". They did have football on the telly, if you're into that sort of thing. Otherwise we came for the name and stayed for the drink...

It’s kinda authentic from the outside, and the decor inside tries hard to imitate that Scottish style. Not a single person working there will be authentic though, the music choice is anything but pub-like, and the beer and cider selection is very limited.

Often crowded and waiters being a bit stressed out and unavailable, you should only come here for a quick beer and snack. If you keep your expectations low enough, you won’t be...

They really go the extra mile to live up to the myth of, not Lochness, but the cheap Scotsmen. They charged us for four glasses of wine, instead of two, claiming that had given us the double amount (which they hadn't). They finally gave us a discount on the imaginary extra glasses they claimed to have served. The food was nothing special.
