I went there today and it was the most disappointing experience I could ever have. The menu was absolutely terrible: rice with fried zucchini and a lime… then they had an onion soup and some other meal… a salad or something. it was all just cheap carbs with no protein at all. So when I asked which meal had some protein in it, a guy started to name all the vegetables that had in their salad. None of them was a good source of vegan protein. All just stuff like tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, spinach etc… so I asked literally which meal had some tofu of beans or just a simple handful of peanuts… and all I got was rolling eyes 🙄?!?! What the f is that?! Is that what you call a customer oriented service? You don’t even know what protein looks like and you’re rolling your eyes when I ask for it?! Vegans need protein too and it’s not for bodybuilding purposes only. Protein has many different roles in human body, one of them is immunity. So yeah, terrible service, horrible menu and uneducated personnel that gives you eye rolling instead of solution. You know… buying half a kilo of peanuts costs like 2€ FFS and you can add a tablespoon of that into many many of your cheap trash meals to make it at least a bit worth the money. I’m never coming back here. Keep your eye rolls for your...
Read moreIt was a bit difficult to find. Turns out it was in a food court and the kitchen was in the basement (separate from the rest of the dining area). It's a self service dining area and you'll have to order and pick up your own food and drinks. Maybe the place is nicer in the summer.
Food was nice but the experience was ruined by the location itself. Drinks were very expensive. We were not offered a menu and assumed prices were the same as any other major European city. Wrong – we paid almost €20 for 2 glasses of bottled apple juice. This is more expensive than even Vienna's District 1 cafés. Saw some other reviews complaining about drink prices as well. Learn from us: Ask for a menu and take note of the prices.
I hope this establishment can have its own café and space in the future so the experience can be much better (especially for the...
Read moreTotally recommend this place! I had vegan Halušky and it was so good. Kind staff also English speaking and English menu. Nice vibe in the place, kinda hip. Small vegan menu with both slovak and international dishes. Toilet and plug to charge phone. Didn't ask about wifi. Service only 4 stars because the restaurant arrangements with the vegan and non vegan part is confusing. There's no sign about the restaurant, so hard to find and when I found it the arrangement was still unclear and inconvenient and staff didn't explain very well. To find it you go to the restaurant cafe Possonium and order your vegan food in the basement and also pay there. But you can go up to the main restaurant ( which is not vegan) to...
