Terrible service! We came in per recommendation of my friend, before our train. When we came in, no greetings, only sour faces as if we were offending them with our presence. We met three members of staff and not a single polite, kind, welcome from any of them. Very confusing QR scan menu, with different ordering places. We found out that they don't serve breakfast anymore (which was not stated anywhere), and they don't serve any food for 1 and half hours. Nobody cared to facilitate anything else, zero customer service. I worked in horeca and we try to always satisfy the customer, come up with an alternative, not let the customers walk away hungry. But this place does not value customers at all. If I were the owner, I would hold a staff training session, because this is unacceptable.
EDIT: The response lacks accountability and heavily misunderstands the points of criticism. To accuse us of rudeness on top of it is ridiculous. Nobody was rude to the staff, we wrote truthfully about how we were treated. We said hello first, thank you, please, bye, everything according to basic courtesy, with smiles on our faces but was not met with the same attitude. That is the truth and instead of acknowledging that the situation could be solved better on your end, you chose to lie and accuse us of being rude. We had arrived a little late, so asked at 8:58 p.m. if that was still possible, but unfortunately that was not possible. Then we ordered a wine and 1 shot of tequila. When the drinks were finished and the game of cards was done we wanted to checkout. At checkout, however, we found that we had gotten the most expensive tequila, when we just wanted a shot. We had not been asked which tequila we wanted (they had three options ranging between 4.5 euros and 7.60). In addition, there were 4 wines on the receipt, while we had only had 2. Upon inquiry, it turned out that they had poured us a double amount (which is standard apparently), and that this is how they note it on the receipt. However, this had not been indicated in advance. Read moreStaff was slow, menu prices were outdated, and we in general felt unwelcome and a bit screwed over with a €21 bill for 2 glasses of the cheapest wine, one shot and some nuts. They served us a double serving of the wine (0,2L instead of 0.1 listed on the menu) reporting back when asked when we saw 4 glasses on the bill (when we had just 2) that that’s normal here (then why isn’t the standard serving size on the menu 0,2… ). Also gave us the most expensive version of a liquor without us asking for the most expensive one.
