SMOKE HOUSE KOŠICE — Restaurant in Košice

Unfortunately we have an " Unforgetable " Experience today. I came to this place before is not the first time, waiting is fine they never were the fastest but today happen something else.

We ordered the drinks , mine was cola with ice and lemon, ice and lemon didn't came, i have to go a second time to ask for it at the bar after one reminder.... We ordered Nachos to share as starter it came with the main food, this is not pleasant when you want something to eat meanwhile you drink, that's why is called starter, do not finish here.. we were 4 and only two forks were delivered , we asked the waitress for a fork, she answered yes.. after 10 min of the fork not coming.. and two people could not eat nachos(obviously the cheese was as a stone already and cold), I have to again go to the bar and ask for a fork .. The second waitress came and apologized fort the problem explaining that they have an issue (When we ask the second time for the fork, the first waitress was seating in the corner of the bar looking at people....) to bring a fork is literally one min and is expected in a restaurant when people goes to eat. Not finish here...the second waitress ask as if we wish a desert, so we ordered two lava cakes...10min and nothing came...first waitress come back and ask, we said we are missing two lava cakes and ordered a cola and a bottle of water, after another 10min she served the water but no lava cakes or cola.....after 20min waiting for the lava cake we just paid and leave.

Some things to take constructive as a service must be ,Not even a good service , but a regular :

1. Is a must to give the utensils to people to eat the food
2. If a table already called your attention for lack of service , at least do as you have interest and be more professional and proactive, not miss every other order they made after...
3. If there is any issue in the kitchen of lack of personal , it is ok to say " we have a problem today we might be slower than normally" but is not ok to forget and ignore half of the things ordered anyways.

It was a very unpleasant experience and honestly the service needs training on how to do a " regular" service, not...

Where do I start... We attended as a group of 7. We were looking forward to some nice smoked food. We ordered baby back ribs but was told there was only one left. So we changed and ordered smoked chicken pieces, 20 minutes later we was told that they had none left and maybe try chicken wings. We ordered a variety of different dishes, smoked chicken, chicken wings, burnt ends and fries. The burnt ends represented tinned dog food. I can only describe them as a mushy mess in some sort of dog food jelly mixed with gravy. To be quite honest, I wouldn't feed this my dog. NONE of the meat was smoked, it was all frozen battered trash. The 'smoked chicken' was merely a chicken schnitzel shredded into bits of cardboard. I like to be fair in my reviews, the fries were delicious, but €25 a head for nice fries, simply not worth it. The beer... its local beer, didn't serve general pilsner, we was offered somethig 'similar' and it tasted like perfume. But hey, I'll accept that and try something else next time. Please don't think this review is to damage the reputation, I am providing feedback so you can make changes. The atmosphere is good, the service was good, but the food was absolutely awful. Great service, but food is not so great. The chicken wings were dry to bone, beans were from can HEINZ beans, really disappointed. The baby rack was cooked nice, but just some basic bought bbq sauce poured over it. Next time, I will try burger. Looks like a lot of food is prepared from frozen and not fresh. You should focus on quality, comparing prizes to the size of portions It's not right. I had higher expectations. Also we were waiting for an hour for the food. I paid around 50 euros, which is really not worth it. They need to make some changes, if you can't do it then...
