Vinoteka Zdravljica — Restaurant in Bled

This vinoteka quickly became our go-to spot, whether before or after dinner, to enjoy some great Slovenian wine and a pleasant chat with the friendly owner. The entire selection features Slovenian wines, and we had the pleasure of trying several different varieties.

We absolutely loved the laid-back atmosphere on the terrace with the views of Lake Bled, Bled castle and the little church. One evening, we were even able to stay a little longer to truly savor the wines, which was a wonderful bonus. A thoughtful touch is that every wine serving comes with a glass of water and some peanut sticks, enhancing the overall experience.

Arguably the best place to sample local Slovenian wines. The lady, who seems to be the owner there, is extremely welcoming and friendly. The wines are reasonably priced, yet they are high quality. The place also has a view of Bled castle and from noon onwards gets sun on its terrace. And the location is just steps away from the lake.
