KIPARNA — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. Terrible place, let me explain:

On 01.03.25, my friends and I were hanging out at Kiparna. At the table next to us, there were two men who had too much to drink, and one of them started approaching our table, persistently bothering us. Despite our polite requests for him to leave us alone, he didn’t get the message.

Not only did he harass us, but he also bothered the waitress—touching her inappropriately and constantly causing a scene. We then asked the waitress to call the police, to which she responded: “I’m not calling the police because that’s the owner of the place. If you need to, call them yourself!”

Seriously? So just because he’s the owner, he can behave like this? 🤬

No one did anything, so we left the place! If you don’t want to visit a place where the owner acts like a complete jerk and does whatever he wants, I’d strongly recommend staying away from this...

The "Kiparna" bar in Ljubljana is a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. The atmosphere is friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced (Ljubljana level). The bar staff are attentive and make sure you have everything you need, but they could me more proactive and festive. A nice place just to hang out, rest a little bit and have a coffee, a juice or a a drink. Avoid all the noise from the cafeterias by the river. Smoker’s friendly. Has a small playground for kids, and is on grass which is perfect. Also, pet friendly. Fair prices. The only downside is that it doesn’t offer any kind of food, not even small snacks.
