We came to the café awaiting a service that formerly deserved all the clean 5-star reviews. However, we encountered numerous setbacks during our visit. Not only were they out of matcha, which one could forgive, but the coffee was not particularly excellent (probably unwashed machine) and the staff was not very pleasant. The last straw came when we were asked to pay 4.8 € for a very underwhelming ginger lemonade presented to us as a normal lemonade that cost 2.8 €. The "new" price was nowise mentioned on the menu. We went in for a quick coffee and refreshment but left utterly dissapointed with the both the goods and the staff. Coffee was worse than average, lemonade and ginger lemonade were just an ovepriced lemon water with three pieces of ginger in the ginger one. Both were presented to us as a lemonade for €2.80 but it turned out the three pieces were probably worth €2, which we refused to pay for. The server seemed very annoyed with our presence. Cukrarna is a cozy gem with a fantastic ambiance and delicious coffee! The baristas and the owner are friendly and skilled, making each cup with care. I loved their coffee , every sip and the cappucino was great —rich, creamy, and perfectly frothy. The selection of pastries is delightful, too! It’s the perfect spot to relax or to hang out !
