Food was medicore, service was slow and the restaurant is not catered to international customers, which is beyond me! Ordered the bbq pizza which lacked in flavour - the base was good though. Waiters were inattentive - every time I tried to get someone’s attention for more than 5 minutes, they walked straight past. At one point the manager had to physically point to me in order for the waiter who was standing right opposite me to come over! The staff obviously need to be retrained. Service like this just frustrates me! When it came time to paying the bill, the waiter came over with the card machine and it wasn’t working and instead of apologising, I just got told “it’s your card” when my card works everywhere! She then called the manager after trying several times and he says “we don’t take American Express” when my card clearly was not an Amex. The manager then said “our card machines don’t accept cards from outside the country” Seriously?! In an establishment like Rosebank? Luckily because I’ve lived all over the world, I had an FNB card, but had I not, it would have been a problem. Management need to sort this out! All of this just ruined the whole experience.
