This is a odd place. Firstly, the menu and ordering system. You get a menu with a space for your name and next to the food items there is a tickbox. It's somewhat like filling out a multiple choice section in a exam. Having the food orders linked to a name and the easy way of telling what the orders are without taking notes is unique I guess, however seems a bit like waste of paper (hope they recycle).

Secondly, the food is tasty and well prepared and I would recommend the nachos (price vs quality/quantity it's absolutely worth it, however, from past experience this is very adapted Mexican food. This makes it less of an overwhelming sensation for the costumer, which was pleasant, but still disappointing considering I had prepared myself mentally for the genuine Mexican food flair and spice.

3rd, the drinks, especially their cocktails and some of their tequilas are incredibly tasty. I can recommend the mojito jug, by far one of the best mixed ones I've come across. Same goes for the sipping tequila, if you can handle the short burn that comes before the flavour.

4th, the vibe where the Spur has the Americas-Indian theme, this would be the Mexican version of Spur. Not a bad idea if you want to have some fun at your friend's expense on their birthday (they play loud music, sing and dance for you, whilst fireworks and a sombrero is placed on the birthday person). It is amusing, yet quite loud and gets a bit much after 3 rounds of random celebrations. Without the performance interruptions, the vibe is rather pleasant, expecially being placed where it is (definitely recommend a outside table to enjoy the beautiful water fountain, which is adjacent to the restaurant).

5th, price wise you're also looking at a relative middle class range for food (between R70 and R130 pp), where drinks are more on the expensive side (R40 and up, way up, for something that suits the venue)

And finally, my one big complaint: food not being brought out because it stands forgotten in the kitchen is a big no-no. A special food order being somewhat wrong or a minor discrepancy to the menu is somewhat acceptable, but forgetting a ready plate I'm the kitchen is a not. Serving it lukewarm, where it should be piping hot is a bit of a letdown. Don't just serve it if it's tempit, never ever serve it just as it is .

Overall I recommend this place to individuals who enjoy the more trendy youth vibe, and don't mind random performances for other patrons, and want to "jol" a bit (not linitated by age btw). However, if you like me prefer a more quite intimate dining, or an occasional casual outing to a chaotic bar, then this is not for you. This one falls spot in the...

The venue is divided into an inside and terrace dinning space. There are restrooms on site.

Your host, Ashley, is a friendly and he works the room and outdoor spaces seemlesly. There are many, professional waitrons available and they gel really well as a team. Live Latin music on some evenings create a festive atmosphere (get a table further away from the speakers). The crowd here is very cosmopolitan and fashionable. The cocktails are deliscious and flow easily What an entertaining vibe! Please like this review if it has helped to set the scene for a fun night out.

The food is delicious and an excellent value proposition. Don't worry, it is not too spicy. There are however, a range of hot sauces and chillies to liven up the tastebuds of those who like to turn on the heat. The views are great and you can watch the passing traffic across the piazza or follow your favorite sports event on the central, huge screen. In our wonderful climate, it is also easy to just enjoy the setting sun and the beautiful skies over Pretoria. Great place for birthdays and meeting friends with a...

This is the worst restaurant I have ever ate at. The food was ice cold, I should’ve flown to Antarctica to get it myself for how long that wait was. TWO hours for 1 persons meal and it was cold, then another 45 minutes later (2hr:45) minutes after order we finally got everyone else’s food, which they messed up beyond belief. We had to cancel two orders because it took so long. They also only brought one dish after we said this is so stupid where’s our food. Then there was a fight and blood everywhere and they never cleaned it up but they did throw the bloody napkins ALL over the table. Pathetic, so we on top of all of that lost our appetite. Then it was so freezing outside even after we requested a heater nobody was using they forgot and we froze. AND THEN- they played some music and it kept everyone freezing outside happy and somewhat warm. Then they turned it off and when my friend and I asked them to turn it back on they tried to sell me alcohol as an underage person. Absolutely terrible food plus someone got food poisoning. This place needs...

It's so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing! We love salsa and were VERY sad when the Centurion branch closed unexpectedly. We always order the nachos because its gluten free. I like adding Mince, black beans, and sour cream to complete the dish. We ordered the full portion of nachos, which is just just enough to share between two. A jug is also a good option to share between two or three people. It was difficult, as the waitress at Centurion usually poured the jug for us, at this one, we had to fend for ourselves and ended up spilling everywhere trying to pour our drinks, while the waitress just left us to struggle. They will sing if it's your birthday, which is a vibe, and their tequila train is an experience. The craft tequilas are absolutely delicious. Sitting inside or outside is great because it's beautifully decorated inside and lovely vibes outside with a fountain feature at the mall.

First time experience was really good. The food was amazing, servings were really generous. The waiter was really friendly and the service was quick. Even though it was pretty busy, our food still arrived within a good amount of time. The only big issue we had was when we wanted to pay. The waiter informed us that the card machine was offline and only cash transactions could be done. They didn't notify us beforehand, only when we wanted to pay. Luckily, because the bill for 5 people can be quite an amount, we had the cash available, but they didn't have a backup plan in place for people who don't carry cash. Other than that, would highly recommend.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. All the food that we had was extremely tasty and high quality. There is a large variety of different dishes, and it has a very authentic Mexican style. I would highly recommend the Tostadas, and the Mexican Meatballs (if you are looking for something spicy). It is quite pricey, but in my opinion it is definitely worth the price. I would also recommend going with a couple of people, ordering a lot of different dishes and then sharing between one another - typical Mexican style!
