We had a reservation for 6pm we called to inform them that we were running late the person on the line said it was okay and went ahead to confirm how many people were coming and I said 4. To our surprise when we arrived we were told our table was no longer available after a bit of a back and forth with the gentleman at the door he asked that we wait at the bar and he would get us a table needless to say he forgot about us and we had to take matters into our own hands and we got ourselves a table. Shortly after we sat down, a group ladies sitting at the couches next to us left and we moved to their table. The same gentleman who forgot about us PEOPLE WHO HAD A RESERVATION came to tell us that the table we are sitting at is reserved and I proceeded to say we also had reservation. He then said “ohh yes Karabo I’m sorry guys I forgot , in that case then it’s fine” we told him not to worry as we had sorted ourselves out. 5 minutes later a lady comes to our table she proceeds to explain that the table we are sitting at is one of her reservations and that we had already been given a table under our reservation which is incorrect because we got ourselves that table. After a lengthy back and forth we moved back and the lady advised that there was a group of people who were about to leave on the opposite side and we could move there once they leave. While we understood her point of view it cannot be correct that customers must be affected by their lack of communication amongst each other. After about 30 minutes she came back to say we could move and we did. All of this happened while we were waiting for our food we had already received our drinks. After a full hour of being at the restaurant our very kind waiter came to inform one of us that the lasagne left is not enough for a full portion so can she please order something else mind you we placed our order Atleast 30 minutes ago. We received our food at exactly 20:36 I think you can do the math on how long we waited for our food. Read moreThe service was very disappointing. I had the worst experience at this restaurant. I got there just before 2 and I waited 20 minutes for the drinks menu alone. All the waiters were just passing my table. After ordering my first drink I was already put off and wanted to leave but my friend said we should give the restaurant a chance. Alright we ordered the second drink and it took over 45 minutes to arrive when I asked what’s taking so long to make a drink the waitress told they only have one blender. Told myself they can’t be serious!!!
Moving on to the food. At this point I wanted to leave but I was hungry so I decided to order something quick and simple, I ordered a beef burger. Little did I know that something as simple as a BURGER would take them over 1 hour 30 minutes. When I asked the waiter why the burger took this long, she told me they were making it from scratch… what do you mean ya’ll were making the burger from scratch!!! As if that wasn’t enough the burger patty was ROTTEN and SMELLY!!! Sent it back and that was me for the night, left hungrier than when I arrived and I was at a restaurant!

Read moreI love this place and the service from the staff is top notch but the treatment of the staff by the boss, not acceptable at all. The owner yells at the staff in front of the customers, staff is basically being harassed. I was there and there was an incident where glasses were broken by mistake, even offered to pay for those but they insisted the staff must pay about 200/300 bucks which I find very ridiculous! One waitress was even crying because the working conditions are so terrible, apparently they do not even get paid on time and when they ask about their salaries they get lashed out on. Terrible terrible staff treatment, very inhuman if you ask me. So yeah won't be going back anytime soon. Treat your staff well please they are...
