I always make a point of starting with positives on a review however I canât find any for Siba â˘Slow drinks service â˘Slow food service â˘Incorrect cutlery â˘Incorrect & inaccurate menu â˘Cold food â˘Managers who promise to manage your dining experience to be never seen again! â˘Unprofessional & inattentive waiters â˘Pallet cleanser with a taste that lingered in your mouth Lack of compassion from Siba âher-selfâ when reaching out afterwards her reply âwe are always willing to learn.âThey quote themselves as "an iconic 5-star dining experience" there should be no room to learn? After the desserts I ventured off to find a manager to sit and chat too. A guy who said he had only been recruited a week ago to sort out the issues chatted to me⌠he was compassionate and said he would ask the powers that be what discount they could offer. We sat at the table and waited , and waited I then went out again and looked for him.. the waiter asked me if he could help.I requested details of a discount and the bill.. He said we did not know you wanted to pay .. and offered one meal free. It is not down to the customer to ask; the waiter should have come to us and asked if he could help. Siba portrays itself as Fine Dining- The managers need to take an incognito visit to the Pier Restaurant above the Waterfront in order to learn what fine dining is really about!

The food was just epically good, every course stunningly beautifully plated and so full of flavor, both my friendâs regular-with-meat tasting menu and my vegetarian tasting menu. Sibaâs chefs got so much umami into the vegetables - a rare accomplishment!
Youâll die when you get the first course, a giant bowl full of herbs around the edges that they make magically come to life with an incredible effect!
The staff was so friendly and welcoming, as well. Our server Anesipho was radiantly beautiful, witty, charming, uber-professional and so helpful. She and her colleagues are outstanding and really made our night!
The restaurant is very classy and beautiful, stylish but not over the top, just perfectly refined. Wine recommendations were amazing. My friend said the experience turned her into a foodie as now she understands how incredible food can be!
Sad we apparently missed Sibaâs visit to the restaurant by one day, Iâve been watching her for years and love her work and positive energy! It all comes together and shines through at the restaurant.

   Read moreFood was delicious but not even that could salvage it from an otherwise painful experience⌠The whole meal took around 5.5 hours total (20:30 to 2:00am) the restaurant was understaffed and the staff was overworked. Certainly they can hire more people if they want to. Our waiter was lovely but around 45 minutes in between courses and a payment that took another 45 minutes because the restaurant couldnât figure out how to work its credit card machine (it only had one, they said), made the waiter bear the brunt of our frustrations, though it should be directed at management and operations. This is my first ever review lol but I felt compelled to advise you that unless you want a six hour experience in which the restaurantâs hardworking staff is getting yelled at both by customers and by management, donât come here.
