스시마이우 해운대점 — Restaurant in Busan

I’m living in Korea, and I really don’t recommend this restaurant. Even if the chefs looks kind and the service is some fast I felt some tourists traps here. First we arrived (my husband is Korean) and the waiter gave us a « miso soup » but it as absolutely no taste. Water taste better. And they were 4/5 chefs, but they ONLY make expensive sushi. I felt like a trap, because we didn’t had the choice to eat the cheapest sushi. For tourists it can be difficult to order sushi in Korean, but I was lucky my husband could order from the chef for me. My rating: 7.7/10. One of the best conveyer belt sushi places I’ve ever been too, but I don’t think that’s saying much. The sushi was above average, but below my expectations for this part of the world, especially considering the prices. Each dish (1 or 2 pieces of sushi) was just under 4,000 Won, which was a bit high for this kind of restaurant. Other than the food, the restaurant is located in a nice, busy food district of town and the staff are quite friendly and helpful. Sushi Maiu is one of the most delicious and popular restaurants in town. There are many kinds of sushi, such as fish and meat, on the menu. Salmon and tuna sushi are chewed very softly and have no fishy odor. The cool buckwheat dish on the side menu is very delicious and nice. This restaurant is a chain store and the interior is clean and simple. Because it’s a revolving sushi, you can get it quickly and eat, and the staff is very kind when ordering.
