I recently visited this bakery and was impressed by the wide variety of freshly baked treats on display. The pastries are not only visually appealing but also have a unique assortment of flavors, ranging from traditional options like pecan and hazelnut to more creative choices such as mugwort and matcha. Each treat is beautifully presented, with clear descriptions of the ingredients and flavor profiles, making it easy to choose something youāll enjoy.
The textures were perfect ā crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. My personal favorites were the pecan and hazelnut, both rich in flavor and just the right amount of sweetness.
The prices are fair for the quality, and although a couple of items were sold out when I visited, thatās usually a sign of how good they are! Overall, a great spot for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth or try something new, I will definitely be coming back!
Ps. The staffs here really friendly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably one of the worst financiers I have ever eaten. I bought the Pepper Brick, Salt Milk Brick, Caramel Brick and Garlic Brick.
The pepper in the Pepper Brick was error 404 not found, I only tasted milk and a very cakey middle in the Financier. The texture and the undercooked chunk inside was very turn off and a disgrace to be called financier. Again in the Salt Milk Brick, I only tasted milk and where is the salt? Why are you guys making the same thing and naming it differently?
I tasted no caramel in the Caramel Brick just subtle burnt undertones, definitely not caramel so please stop skimping on the main ingredients. The Garlic Brick was the only thing worth eating - properly baked, the right amount of garlic fragrance and a suitable texture.
Very gimmicky, extremely good branding but very rubbish product. I would pay a lot for good things but the financiers from here are definitely not worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne day, on our way to a cafĆ© to have breakfast in Myeongdong, Seoul, we walked by this cute shop that only sells financiers: Bricksand Seoul. The aesthetic of the shop is stunning 𤩠and, even though I don't think that financiers are the most interesting pastries and that such a big shop to sell only 1 product is a reasonable use space š , I couldn't help but go in. We had 3 different flavors (the number of flavors they offer is insane, btw!) to share and they offered my son another one, a plain one, which ended up being the one I liked the most. They initially seemed dry but it was just the outside, and the inside was perfect. At KRW 2.5K, it's a pretty expensive snack for š°š·, but every once in a...
