Stayed in this hotel as 3 people. We opted to have a double bed and a single bed for the stay. First of all, the location is amazing. Close the subway, right in front of a foreign currency exchange, right in front of a restaurant (dakgalbi), 7eleven downstairs and very close to a bread/coffee place (with croissant). It is also close to the road so someone can pick you up by car. Aside from that, Myeongdong has a lot of reputable places for barbecue, seafood, souvenirs, dim sum, and coffee. When you get tired of those, you can visit the Myeongdong Night Market close by. Personally, the night market is a good change of pace from the touristy restaurants. They are also quite close to an airport limo bus stop which makes it easy to transfer to airport. Now for the rooms. Staying in a double bed plus single bed combo is a bit awkward. On the side of the single bed there is a lamp by the headboard. This is like 1.5 foot inwards of the mattress, 1.5 foot above the mattress, as the mattress was against the wall. If I moved recklessly or moved in my sleep, i would end up hitting it on my head. Another thing is that there is noticeably only one set of outlets to use in the room which is by the TV's. Near the end of my stay, I got curious and found out that there were outlets hidden due to the bed configuration. There was one behind the double bed and one behind the single bed. I wish we had access to it during our stay, so it's easier to use my phone while charging. I don't like the A/C system. Whenever we got back, it was around 23-24 degrees celsius which was much different than outside in winter which reached 0 degrees celsius during my stay. No matter how low i put it, it just doesn't change. I complained to the front desk and it seems that, in winter, they only have the heater operating. I have asked them to look it over to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong, and it seemed to be correct. To help with the temperature, the gentleman who came into the room opened the windows, but it slants down so it doesn't let cold air in really. Staff gave vague directions for their Breakfast. First of all, they are not sure exactly what is going to be in the menu for the restaurant. Noticing the pictures outside about preordering (Preorder to receive discount), I wanted to make reservations for the restaurant. But, front desk told me it's okay to walk in. When we walked in, the restaurant staff told us to go to the front desk to receive a meal ticket. And, when we got to the front desk, of course they didn't provide the preorder discount. There was no laundry service it looks like for this hotel, however, they have a coin laundry in the hotel skypark II right next door. Ana (If i remember correctly) and the Housekeeping Lady let me know to make sure that I was able to get to the right place which was very nice of them. Ana even showed me pictures of the machine and how to operate it. It feels a bit weird to exit the hotel with my dirty laundry and go through the front desk of the other place. I would have really opted for some laundry service on site or coin laundry. The lobby is kind of small for much interactions. There are usually some people there, and it's not a big space to meet with others. It's not that comfortable there. The elevator has some kind of deficiency in English. Going down the elevator from the higher floors, I would hear "No Power. Please wait a minute" in the elevator lady voice. This really freaked me out as no power in the elevator sounds like a hazard. I didn't feel safe. Probably only for people who speak English to worry, but I survived so there must be something else wrong with...
Read more*Super super con: The mattress is really bad, even after hotel claimed to have changed the mattress after the second night. Not sure if the hotel changed or flipped it over. Still very poor. Mattress sinks in a v big area, aft sleeping, even worse. Even the pillows are thin and v uncomfortable. Slept very poorly for the first 3 days.
The next 2 days I had another blanket and 2 more pillows. That made my sleep more bearable. Considered how much we paid. It is really 0/5.
Cons: 1.super bad bed and pillow and mattress till I was not comfortable enough to go down for breakfast. I thought the first night could be difficult as it was a long day, turns out second day was terrible too thus I escalated.
2.The shower head jets out water so strongly and the poorly is at a fixed angle, thus the water either sprays hard at ur head or you got to hold it to have it at a comfortable angle.
If you lower the water pressure, the shower head will not have water.
Ended up, we were Daiso to buy a multi angled shower head holder. That made everything better.
3.Bath length. You could be comfortably in, if you are 1.6m or shorter.
4.There's a front slight of 10-15 steps to climb. Not suitable if you want weak legs. But there's a long two steps ramp at the side of the hotel.
5.Check in is by machine and quick sticky on timing.
6.We had a booking for triple beds, but it seems that our rooms did not table the table and 2 comfy chairs that the other room had. We only had a small chair beside the v small dresser cabinet.
7.The TV was also not aligned at the center of 3 beds. One of the beds totally had no view but it was fine as we did not watch much tv.
*8.Another super con : there's only 1 l electrical plug. The other Korea is too closed by to be used.
Pros: **Centralised location.
*There's got many tv channels but we did not get to watch much as we were travelling. The bidet was a plus too.
**Raining days: There were umbrellas to be borrowed. Easily
*Super Pro : the breakfast. Include more photos as there’s not too many breakfast photo. Not many people mentioned about it. There's Korean DIY bibimbap, there's fried chicken, there's veg porridge and soup. For western, there's milk and cereal, salad, pastas with diff finishes each day. There were juices, coffee machines, instant noodles and diff tea bags.
There's a 7-11 downstairs besides entrance of hotel. Just that it doesn't have disco lights and music, other wise it is a good place to chill. To make ur instant noodles, food. Have a relaxing ice drinks or hot drinks. The 7-11 was lots of fun.
Tip : the 2 lifts on the same side brings u directly to the basement for breakfast. The lift that is on one side only goes to level 1 and u have to change lift to go basement.
During May, Aircon was on and room was sufficiently cool.
Service staff tried to accommodate although one front desk officer wanted to investigate my bedding issue before a mattress change. His attitude was also very poor till I asked him to write his...

Since it was a warning with no penalty fee in place, we ignored it & thought it was a case of misidentification. The next morning before we head out for our activities, I sensed something is not right about the letter and decided to take a video of the entire room, including all the bed linen before we head out. True enough, we received another letter at night & this time, it states our bed linen is stained with marker ink & demand a penalty fee!!! I approached the counter the very next day & and coincidentally, the staff who issued the letter was the one who attended to me. Before I start the conversation, I repeatedly ask 3-4 times is he sure the soiled bed linen is from my room & he mentioned they won’t be wrong! I asked for proof & he showed me an un-ironed pillow case with no stain on it from their computer screen. I am totally loss of words as the letter descriptions does not tally with the ‘evidence’ at all yet he demanded the penalty fee for it. Now I start to suspect the ‘evidence’ perhaps, has been used on many victims before. Finally, it is showtime for me. I flashed my video evidence which clearly shows the date & timing taken, and it shows no dirty/stained bed linen at any corner of the room at all. In a turn of event, he now mentioned it may be a case of wrong identification. Hmm…don’t try this trick as I already repeated ask are they sure it’s my room. The case was diverted to the housekeeper manager as the blame was pushed to him. I requested to see him the next day as his shift was ended for the day. The next day, I waited awhile at the lobby and the GM finally attended to me, mentioning the housekeeping manager is not available. I guess the manager must be wondering how to explain to me. The GM is polite & apologetic but I have to sound out the unethical business tactics they uphold. If I did not take the video to safeguard my family, I am sure they will charge the penalty to my credit card as we would have no control over it. Its words against words! I am sure I am not the only family being the victim but thanks to my video evidence. The entire stay was pleasant till this incident. Really disappointed as I wouldn’t expect something like this to happen in a...
