Highwaist Café offers a perfect respite from the summer heat, blending English charm with the traditional feel of an old Hanok house. The café’s cozy and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by its thoughtful decor, provides a cool and relaxing escape from the bustling streets outside. Although the prices are on the higher side, it’s a top pick for many due to its unique setting and delicious offerings.
During my visit, I enjoyed a variety of their renowned scones, including the Highwaist signature scone, basil pesto cream cheese homemade scone, apple cinnamon scone, pretzel butter scone, and Earl Grey scone. Each scone had its own unique flavor and texture, making it difficult to choose a favorite. To complement these treats, I indulged in their refreshing Scotch latte and rich cream latte, both of which offered a soothing break from the summer heat.
In summary, Highwaist Café is one of the top spots in Seoul to escape the summer warmth, with its charming decor, cool ambiance, and a fantastic variety of cakes, scones, and beverages. Whether you visit on a busy holiday or a calm weekday morning, this café is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy some of the finest treats...
