Ghiwon22 — Restaurant in Seoul

To start, the drinks here were nothing short of incredible. Although I'm not familiar with the history and traditions of the spirits they use for their cocktails, I am enamored with the concept of allowing traditional liquors and flavors to shine. Every detail from the flavors to the visual appeal of the drinks was perfectly balanced and I was thrilled to experience something new. The drink pricing is on par with what I would expect from a high-end cocktail bar in a large US city.

The concept of putting a modern spin on tradition carried over to the vibe in the bar as well, with jazz/swing/ragtime covers of modern songs being played. The staff was very attentive and welcoming, and spoke great English.

This bar is a must visit for anyone who likes cocktails. I didn't get to sample any of the food on this visit, but I'll be coming back before my vacation...

Clearly, the service has surpassed our expectations! So much that we came twice. The cocktails are excellent (and we tried almost all their special cocktails). My favorites: Leegang Ju & Orchard Cocktail, and Gamhongro Sujeonggwa! But they are all very good really. The Spirit of Mountain is a must-try. The ambiance is really classy and chill. It changes depending on the time of the week (calm in the beginning more lively in the end of the week) Above all, the bartenders are so nice! They really take the time to discuss with you and make you feel confortable! We had a great time both times we came and I just wanted to come back another time. Truly hidden Gem. We've walked in due to great music coming from the bar. We've tried everything from Highball to cocktails using traditional Korean liquor and I enjoyed all of them. Very creative offering using Korean Traditional liquor. Highly recommended. Ask for English menu if you are non Korean speaker/reader. I recommend trying Korean Traditional cocktail.
