I passionately LOVE this place.
Lone wolf here, solo travel. It was late, and this place was open, they're 24/7.
I ordered many dishes on various visits, all fantastic, the shrimp kimbap was insanely good and very generous in portion.
I had cash so it's ok to order directly from staff, not necessarily from the machines, they have physical menus, I spent around 10,000-15,000 for 2 dishes, if you have less than 10,000 you can still get yourself something reasonably cheap, big in portion and delicious.
If you order, you're allowed to enjoy the free soup and side dishes, as much as you want, and let me tell you something, TRY THE BEEF BROTH/SOUP! God that was so heavenly and comforting, this free side dish was even better than some of the dishes I ordered.
The ladies there are hard workers and kind, Especially one was really nice and welcoming.
Although, There was an incident, where one day the kimbap I ordered had a piece of plastic/nylon, hamdulilah I found it, and when I showed it to her at reception, she was obviously worried, and I told her to not feel bad because everybody is prone to these honest mistakes and that I still admire her work and generosity. So I took the piece of plastic outside the last piece of kimbap and ate it right in front of her at the counter with pure joy and thanked her, and I went back the next day, I would still go back to this place for the wonderful food and hospitality.
Didn't bother myself much with the time, I was in Korea baby, I was chillin, so I never felt like the service was slow or anything, even if it was, be considerate, they're not delaying it on purpose, I enjoyed myself.
Aside from the many wonderful places and great food in the great land of South Korea, I miss this place so freaking much, and I was tremendously happy...
Read moreIt’s 24hr w break around 3-4am. We went 3 times during our trip. 2 times for breakfast and 1 time for dinner. Reason was long operating hours and food is affordable for a simple meal less than sgd10 for one pax. But has a small dining area. Takeaway and English menu are available. Use self service machine to order and pay by card or counter if you want to pay by cash or card.
We love the rice rolls and some of the soups. Self service for kimchi, yellow radish and water. People eat and go. Avoid Monday day time around 9+am. Lots of deliveries to shop due to replenish stuffs. We saw 3 different supplier deliveries while dine in on first visit. Since area is small and we seat near counter. The food pictures are over 3 meals - 2 breakfast, 1 takeaway...
Read moreIn spite of the Chuseok holiday, this tiny little corner store was open and doing a brisk business. This isn't your full service joint. Interactive touch screen ordering with helpful pictures (English enabled for tourist) made light of the ordering process and food was ready for self pick up within 10 minutes. Serving size was very decent considering the price point. We ordered the soondobu , gimbap, mandu and army stew, no complaints taste wise ! Locals popped in at a steady rate so you don't quite feel like it's targeted solely at the tourist. That's a testament to its excellent value . However, don't forget to clear...
